What do you think of this name...

I've decided that if we are having a girl I'd like to name my little girl after my Grandmother Lucie. It is also spelled Lucy. I've told people this and I get some strange reactions like a lot of people don't like the name. What do you think?

Are you going to name her Lucie or name her Lucille and call her Lucie?? I think Lucie/Lucy is an adorable name. It's just old enough to be classic and dainty without being grandma-ish.

I think its lovely, but Im biased as my middle daughter is a Lucy. Her best friend is also called Lucy (they are know as Lucy B and Lucy O at school) and my best friend is Lucy too (they were known as little lucy and big lucy when my lucy was a baby). I also like the spelling Lucie as well, makes it a little bit more unique xx
