So I am trying to make the transition to mummy and daddy being separated go as moothly as possible. I really want their to be routine. I was just wondering what you guys think this is the plan...atm thomas (7months) sees his dad on a wednesday afternoon from 4pm until around 8-8.30pm and a saturday morning from 9.30 to around 4pm. I finish my maternity leave after easter and am going back to fully time work. I work in supported living for people with mental health problems and do 24 hours shifts, i start at 9am to 9.30am next day (sleeping over in work). The plan is for my son to be at the childminders 9- 3..30pm and my ex will collect him, bring him to his parents (where he is living atm) to stay overnight and I will collect him at 9.30 next morning. This will be happening twice per week. I am worried this is too much messing about, differnt houses etc but it seems the best way forward as I need to work, and doing the sleepovers means I get 5 days with my son and the other 2 I can get my full weeks work over while he is seeing his dad anyway, what do you think?? I am sooo scared I will mess him abotu and want things to begin smoothly so he just gets into a good routine that will be normal for him later on. Any thoughts? How often do other kids see FOB just out of interest??

Normally as long as it's only a few places on a set schedule it's fine. Hope that helps!

if it was a few different houses with different people i think that would confuse thomas but, it'll be the same place & same people week in & week out so he should be fine :hugs: & my LO sees his dad one day a week 11am-6pm x x
