What does the ignore button do?

Hope someone can help.

I have some people on my ignore list because their comments have been rude and upsetting and have hurt me so I don't want to see them in future.

So how does it work - do I just not see their posts or threads anymore? What if they reply to a thread I make - do I still not see their posts??

It does just that, it ignores all their posts and threads, sometime a stray thread may pop up but if you hover over it with the mouse it will be blank.

If they reply to a thread you make, it will show as a tiny gap in between posts.
