what dpo is best to test?

I tested at 12 and 14 dpo this month and both were positive, unfortunately this was a chemical pregnancy. So I'm wondering when it would be best to test to avoid knowledge of a chemical pregnancy. I don't want to test too late though because I still want to get to the doctor as soon as possible.

Any day after your missed period, my mum said until you have missed your second period your no safer anyway!

Unfortunately there is no safe day to make sure it's not a chemical or MC. Even testing a week after AF is due is not a guarantee. For all my MC I had absolutely no indication that something was wrong....no bleeding no cramps. For each of them I found out at the first US that the pregnancy wasn't viable....very devastating. When I get a BFP I go into panic mode...it sucks cause I can't feel excited or happy until after I see the heartbeat...and even then I know nothing is guaranteed. So all I can suggest is to test and pray.....
