Just wondering what you've got left to buy and if you're leaving stuff to the last minute!

I think I'm fairly sorted now, just been bought some lovely clothes for baby from a neighbour which is fab, makes it seem so real and close now!

I need to make up the cot, but I'm not going to do that for a couple more weeks, although I'm longing to see it all done and looking cute!
I need more nappies, you can never have enough nappies!

I want to get another cheap changing mat for upstairs, a carseat liner to make him more comfy and then I need to get other bits and pieces for everyone else in the family! My shopping list is growing!

I did a bit of nesting the other day, completely gutted the house and now get very annoyed when I see so much as a bit of fluff on the carpet (must learn to chill!), will need to do another clean in a few weeks!

Got my pushchair through the other day - cheap and practical is the best way of descibing it, not the one I wanted but we're skint! Although I did manage to get a lovely soft footmuff in the sale. I also got one of those transparent carpet rug mats for when I bring the buggy in from outside when it's been raining, thinking of everything!

How about you?

i think ive got everything now just waiting for my dad to put his furniture together so i can do my baby washing !! i may need a breast pump but dont want to buy that too soon. x

I have to wash all clothes
Clean, the more I clean the more it seems to get dirty :dohh: my daughter sees it as a sign to get messing in another room.
Sort OH's hospital bag
Put cot up
mmm, I know theres more....

I have to wash all clothes and clean, the more I clean the more it seems to get dirty

I know what u mean, it might be that I'm just super-sensitive to any tiny bits of dust or dirt that dare go where I've just cleaned! :growlmad::haha:

The only things we haven't got are:

Monitor - hopefully will pick up this weekend
Nursing bras - going on wednesday to get fitted
Play mat/bouncer - people want to get us these as gifts once baby is born
Curtains for the nursery - not urgent as little one will be sleeping in with us initially
Change mat for downstairs - will get either this weekend or wednesday
Cardigan for baby - again hopefully find within the next week
Reusable nappies - so far I only have 1!

Okay that's actually more than I thought lol!
Not much to actually do though, apart from the never ending cleaning, which I can't do much of as I can barely walk around the house anymore :dohh:

still need 2 buy a pram and am due in 2 weeks.. finally found one i like now though so will be getting that next week :)
also need to pack the rest of the hopsital bag - paranoid I will forget something important though HAHA

=]

Ummm... we need to get the Dreami carrycot for our Quinny. DH cousin was going to lend us one but they can't get it out of storage. But TBH this works out better for me because I wanted our own anyway.

A baby monitor... we're actually gonna see how we go without one in the first few weeks and then buy one.

xx

ive got everything for LO obv can never have too many nappies though so will be getting more as i dont have that many and then its just stuff for my hospital bag that i need

I still haven't washed the baby clothes or packed my hospital bag. :dohh:
There's lots of stuff we still need, but my baby shower is this weekend :happydance: so I'm going to wait until after that to buy everything else.

I actually have ALOT to do before the baby comes lol...

*I have need to pack mine & baby's hospital bag
*I have to wait for the bedroom to be finished getting painted before i can put anything in the room
*When the room is all done i have to get my sister or OH to build the cot and then i will arrange all the rest of the baby's stuff and furniture how i want it
*I still need to buy a few more blankets for the baby, I have some but not enough
*I need to iron and fold up baby's clothes and put them away

AND....Lastly Oh I need to buy the baby's cream and olive oil for his or her skin and some other essentials like nappy bags and cotton wool

So Yehh i still have sooo much to do!..In the 9 weeks i have left! :)

have $100 left to pay on our travel system and pick it up.
avent baby bottles
find out what formula pediatrician recommends and get some
breast pads
hospital bag has not even been thought about yet
clothes are all washed but not organized.
wash bedding that i put on the crib 10wks ago cause i couldn't wait!
oh god i don't have a diaper bag yet.

i need to get organized and ready.

I've got a bit of time left.. but am finishing up bedding (I'm sewing like a mad woman), need to organize clothing, wash a bit of stuffs, set up baby's side sleeper in our bedroom, buy some belly binding/wrapping material (in addition to large Ace bandages) so I can wrap right away, pick up some breastfeeding bits (cream, pads), and remember to pack up my own pads to take to hospital.. other than that, I THINK I'm pretty set! (I'm sure I've forgotten a few things... bah!)

Oh, and I could do with re-packing my hospital bag and getting a few more bits for it too!

I still need to:

- buy baby monitor
- buy more sheets for swinging crib
- set up swinging crib in bedroom
- buy some reuseable nappies
- get some more clothes for LO (team yellow so decided we'd just buy the minimum in neautral colours and get a lot more once LO is here)
- put up blackout blind, pictures and coat hooks in nursery
- clean the whole house again!

seems like a really long list now I've written it down!

Tons of things! Our apartment is in the final throws of renovations but unfortunately baby room has become a tool mecca :dohh:

-Wash all babys clothes/sheets/blankets
-Put away all baby things in drawers/cupboards (currently they're all sitting in bags!)
-Clear out baby room.
-Buy cot and monitor (I have moses basket and I'm waiting until after birth to buy the cot as funds are overstretched atm.
-Buy a couple of books for hospital stay.
-Do a huge clean of the apartment as it's a building site right now!

We've still got loads to do and I'm 35 weeks on Tuesday! Picking up pram tomorrow which is going to my mom and dad's (they've paid for it!) but not sure where I'd put it at the moment. Need to clear nursery which is currently a study and paint it in time for furniture to be delivered in 2 weeks. Also need to get nursery bedding. Need to pack baby's and my bag for hospital. So much to do and I've still got 2 weeks at work! Aagh!

im finally completely done! we put the finishing touches on the nursery this week! its a good thing though, because i am now officially overdue. guess i left some things a little late... :-/ doesnt seem to have mattered though, as this little princess doesnt seem to be in any hurry to come out and meet the world!

We still have list to do but I figure we have a little time left!

The nursery is a tool/junk room which needs all the walls and ceiling painting, incl undercoats before the colour goes on. After the earthquake cast week wee also need the wall and ceiling gib checked and the cracks in the corners/window plastered. Luckily the cracks are only on the window wall so we can get the other 3 walls done

Her changing table needs a coat of paint, we have no nappies or toiletries so far.
I have all the clothes she needs (hopefully) and will get them washed once im past about 34 weeks. I also need to wash her linen, muslins and towels.
I need to by a few more essentials such as vests, leggings, bibs, hats, socks etc also a couple of cardie/jumpers
I don't have a monitor but TBH don't think I'll need/want one
I want to get her a mobile and a spiral to go round the cross bar of here hammock

For me .... I need maternity bras (will wait until I'm about 38 weeks) pads, nipple cream, labour things, nighties, nursing pillows.

Ummmmmmm not sure what else!
