I'd say stick to it if its agreeing with him. It think its can be very confusing to change formulas and mostly its only done if their reacting badly to their current formula
I agree with sticking to it. I use Aptamil for Evie and I would highly recommend it. It's supposed to be the closest to breastmilk out of all the formulas (altho tbh, it smells like the others!) I've found that she has never been constipated (in fact, her poos are a very similar consistancy to when I was breastfeeding her) on it either whereas I know other formulas can cause constipation. I used SMA for my first child and she was regularly constipated.
As Special Kala says, I wouldnt change unless your baby was having problems on it
I'd say stick to Aptamil, if you have found a formula that works then don't change it. I had a nightmare with my LO as SMA upset her stomach and had her constipated (tmi) but Aptamil has never caused her any problems. x
I changed LO to aptamil as the midwife recommended it and said it's what they use in neonatal and is closest to breastmilk and I can def. see a difference in his poos - it's clearly better on his digestion!
I use aptimal and never had a problem seems to be more expensive but worth the few extra pennys lol
We have used stage 1, 2 and now we are on 3 with no problems at all
EDIT::
my mw "off the books" did a the best one starts with and the worst one starts with .. and just told us the letters so we could tell but she was then not telling us a better formula not going to post what the mw said was worse that she see's more problems with however incase it turns into a debate from the ones who do use it
