What little things gripe you? Pet peeves? Come have a rant! :)

When it's quiet and I can hear someone chewing their food or smacking gum... SO annoying. Like I want to smack them upside the head annoying (for real it get's to me THAT bad- LOL)- and it's way worse when I hav PMS!!! :haha:

Stupid questions- to very obvious things. Get a clue!

Coming into a TV show or movie (part way) and then asking tons of questions to get "caught up"?!

Selfies... particulary those who post the ALL the time on social media. We get it, you like yourself, kudos. Now move on! Oh, and the bad offenders are the bathroom mirror- look at my half naked body- ones... are they for real?

And people who aren't polite. Just say please/thank you- and hold the door for me and say thanks when I hold it for you... enough said!

Wow- I could really go on... but I'll stop now! LOL

The hospital I worked at before the one I'm at now had this pathologist who was just AWFUL about this! She would chew her food with mouth gaping open, noisy as could be, talking while eating with bits of food flying out of her mouth...Multiple people commented to her about the rudeness of doing that, that we found is completely unappealing to watch her eat her food with her mouth open...She did NOT care, said that's how she shows her appreciation for her food, and being noisy about eating meant that she was enjoying her food. Could not be more glad to not have to witness that every day at lunch anymore! LOL

People who declare they don't like something without trying it.

People who don't like "fish", there is such a wide range of tastes and textures you can't generalise it anything that lives in water.

People who think it's their right to walk next next to each other and block the entire pavement. Yes, I will walk myself and the baby in a sling and a 2 year old in the road so you can keep on holding hands!

Cars that park on the pavement so that you can't get a buggy past.

People who pull away in there cars on the phone. Just stay parked until you finish on the phone!

People who think their bag deserves it's own seat on a packed commuter train.

I enjoyed this

Oh my god I could really relate to Kay _babys post lol!

Folk pushing a buggy and smoking - believe me you will get a look from me!

Doctor receptionists. Enough said

Totally agree with those of you who have said hearing people eat, I CANNOT stand that.
Also agree with Drs receptionists, mine are just rude and unhelpful

Im not being racist/rude/sexist but...

Saying that sentence does NOT excuse what you are going to say and it does NOT stop you being racist/rude/sexist... grrr!!

Things that have annoyed me today:

- tailgaters

- people who come to my work to ask for my professional opinion and obviously have no intention of acting on it or don't want to hear it. WHY are you here then?!

- recurrent lateness for no good reason (and without apology)

- flying ants

- agree with the talking whilst eating stuff. There was a radio advert for weight watchers recently where the woman rambles on whilst making loads of eating noises. I'd have to switch it off every time or it would make me vom. Suppose it had the intended effect.....definitely put me off my food.

People calling my landline trying to sell me stuff, or those stupid automated calls about PPI claims. I get at least 5 a day :growlmad:

When a family member (usually DH) sets 2 TV shows to record on sky plus at the same time and then buggers off out leaving me with a TV I can't watch :growlmad:

People who sit playing on their phones all the time and ignore everyone else around them.

people who make dumb comments.

today after my sons gymnastics class I was loading both kids into the car and putting the buggy into the boot... whilst I do this I leave my car keys in the drivers door key hole thingy.... a car with 2 elderly people pull up next to me the man gets out and says 'ohh look ive found some keys'.... err yeah congratulations on that find there in my fucking car well done!!!!

People who, in a busy petrol station, fill their car up, plus a couple of jerry cans then go into the shop, buy a whole weeks grocery shopping and after 20 minutes FINALLY get in their car and sloooooowly drive away.

Friends who assume that since you have a baby you can easily look after theirs too whilst they nip out for "5 minutes" which actually turns out to be almost an hour.

Drivers who drive at 50MPH until you start to overtake and suddenly they decide to speed up after all.

Colleagues who seem to be incapable of buying their own cigarettes and constantly ask me for one. If I were going to quit, this would be the reason why!!

People who don't listen to a word you say and talk over you all the bloody time.

Shopkeepers who know me but still insist on asking for proof of age when I buy alcohol or cigarettes. Yeah, because I'm really going to age BACKWARDS!! Idiots.

Oh, and family members who think they know better and deliberately do the opposite of what you asked to prove a point.

Sorry for the rant, but I feel much better now :laugh2:

I have loads but my worst is probably when OH makes a cup of tea & he puts the tea/coffe/sugar jars back in the wrong order &/or back to front. AND to top it off leaves his wet tea bag on the side. He does this EVERY single time... Grrrrr...

Toilet paper should hang over the top and down the front - if it's back to front, I itch to change it (and do if I'm at my mum's).

Electric sockets being switched on but having nothing plugged in. Two light switches in one socket type thing opposite ways when the lights are off.

Tables being set incorrectly - my sister always gets the knives and forks the wrong way round. I love a beautiful and correctly laid table. Other table manners not being observed. My sister always starts as soon as she has her plate, not when everyone has been served, and my nan always leaves the table when she has finished, not waiting for everyone else to finish.

Noisy breathers. It bugs me. Other constant and repetitive sounds annoy me, too, like when my nan rubs her shoes together all the time, and they make an annoying squeak.

People who get similar but entirely different words muddled up, particularly Pacific and specific, accept and except, your and you're, bought and brought, they're, there and their and to, too and two, or people saying would/should/could of instead of have, or misusing frequently and regularly.

People who try and say something in a foreign language when not in that country/conversing with someone of that nationality and do so incorrectly.

People who think they know something and it's completely wrong but they're not prepared to listen to the correct version - my aunt does this all the time. My nan also believes every single thing she reads in the paper. She also asks me all the time about my opinion on something I know about (usually health related) and then say 'well on the TV/in the paper, they said...'.

People having an opinion just because it's what the news tells them, or it's popular, and not because they have researched it. My aunt constantly goes on about immigration and that it's bad for the country, but gets her 'facts' from unreputeable sources such as facebook and certain papers.

Patients at work who let you do loads of stuff for them, loads of paperwork, referrals etc then self discharge - why come to hospital in the first place?

There are loads more but I don't want to look too whingey!

I feel like a right git, I just went and checked the roll and I was totally backwards, you're all right, the correct way is from the top [over the top] :dohh: I need a nap :haha:

It actually really bothers me when people complain about other people's spelling/grammar mistakes.

My family struggles with dyslexia problems and sometimes I can't tell on the spell checker what's correct and it don't always show up if you have used the wrong grammar.

It makes me feel like people are looking down on those of us with spelling and grammar problems and I should be able to write on the forum without worrying about someone getting pissed off because I got my i and e round the wrong way or I've used the wrong there their etc..

This is one I'm working on letting go. It used to really irritate me, and I have no idea why. I guess because it was something that has always tended to come naturally to me? But that's no excuse. Now I just notice it still whenever I see it, but it doesn't get under my skin irritating like it used to.

Dh and my SIL both really struggle with spelling and grammar too, so I think its just been a wake up call to me over how petty it was to get so irritated over something like that when there are people who really struggle with it, who don't need to be made to feel less significant because they can't do it as easily as others. They both struggle so much with it at times that spell check literally doesn't have a good suggestion for what word they are trying to spell.

Two faced people, gossips and bitchiness

People who jump in front of you in a queue

People who smoke and the smoke blows into your face, really hate this

My husband's total inability to close drawers/bin empty packets/not leave his wet towel on my bed!!!

People who try and say something in a foreign language when not in that country/conversing with someone of that nationality and do so incorrectly.

OMG yes! Especially when it's in a big budget film and they couldn't even be bothered to do more than google translate it. ESPECIALLY when it's an American film and they translate Spanish wrong; it's like the second language there just bloody ask someone who speaks it!

People spelling excited as 'exited' and people who say comdom instead of condom :haha:

Also there was a girl I used to bother with instead of saying not being funny or no offence she used to say 'not being offence' WHAT DOES THAT MEAN, I used to get so annoyed haha.

People who don't wave when I let them through when I'm driving, people who give me funny looks when I'm out with Elodie (I know I look about 12 but it's none of your business), when newsreaders and tele presenters make mistakes, it's like it ruins the illusion haha!
