Yep mine has decided the same. He doesn't want any contaceptives being used after this one and is hoping it will happen asap.

I said we'll have to see how this one goes first ... Ihave 3 months worth of the pill just in case!!

Yep, after I had my daughter my husband wanted to try right away, it was only me stopping us!

Again now during this pregnancy he keeps saying 'when you're pregnant next time...' I'm like um, let's have this one first! He'd be all up for trying right away again!

Although I would to have another straight after we've made a decision to wait until this one is in school before we try again! Thats so we have time to get married (after a three year engagement) and I would like to do a training course/degree and become a midwife so that wouldnt be possible if we had another.. After that though I would like two close together xxx

My OH is the same,this is our first together and hes already said that he doesnt want me to go back on the pill,and would be happy if i fell pregnant within 6 months of this baby being born! ive told him we just have to see how the rest of the pregnancy goes,and the labour and see if we can cope with the baby!
I told my dad what he said and my dads reply was-what does he think you are,some kind of chicken on a farm!

My hubby qasnt in any rush but my mates hubby wanted another straight away, he is still trying to convince her 20 month after she gave birth to 1st!

We have decided we will be trying again straight away too - although the thought of a double buggy scares the life out of me for some reason! Lol. My SIL fell pregnant with her second four months after her first was born and seeing how close they are has made us want two very close together. (Although ask me this again after the birth haha) x

Nooooo, my OH was pretty much expecting and wanting a boy - When we found out we are having a girl I made a joke saying "well we can try for a boy once weve had her" His response was "No way - 2 of you is enough, im not risking having 3" lol xx Im sure your OH is just excited, thats great - Mines not really fussed at all at the mo xx Dont worry, you can be in control of when you get pregnant again so let him daydream away lol xx

Me: "Are you having a laugh?!!!"

OH: "No, it's my turn to get broody now"

My husband is threatening a vasectomy 2 months after birth... He only wants 2 kids. I wouldn't personally want another child right after giving birth! Too tired! My SIL is 7 months pregnant and her first child is only 14 months. She's working as a teacher and exhausted!

We're the opposite. We initially thought we'd like to pop out a few kids in succession now that we're over 30, but seeing as I have had quite a miserable first trimester, DH commented that maybe I wont want to do it again so quickly. I'm glad we think the same - it's like he read my mind! We can decide the most appropriate timing for baby 2 after (Godwilling) this little bean has been delivered to us.

In my experience, I think the key word here is TRY! As soon as I can, I want to "TRY" too, but not actually get pregnant for a while.

yes he said, "we just wont use birth control anymore" I'd be fine with this but i need to lose the weight first. We are getting married with a small wedding in nov. but in 2013 we want to have a big bash where we renew our vows in front of all our friends. I'd really like to not be pregnant for at least one of my weddings lol! We agreed we would start trying for number two after that vow renewal.
