What pram/stroller are you getting?

We've got the iCandy peach 2 blossom, had an amazing deal on it as it was pretty much the last one in it's colour in the UK. And with it being twins I'll take any deal I can get!!!

At the moment it's going to be either the mylo 2 or sola city from mamas and papas; big price difference though! I'm getting all the extras...carrycot, car seat adaptors etc! But going to go have a push first and then decide! We've got plenty of time yet!!

Well first time round I had a quinny buzz, then second time I got an icandy peach blossom but hated it so sold it and got a bugaboo donkey. Hated that too.

This time round I've got a bugaboo cam 3 but it's a limited edition one with a navy chassis and bright red wheels. I've also treated myself to a designer missoni hood and carrycot cover.

When I don't need a big pram anymore I plan on selling it and buying a babyzen yoyo pushchair. It's the one that folds so tiny it can fit in the overhead compartments on a plane!

Can I ask why you hated the peach blossom? I am thinking about getting it for my small 2.5 year old and newborn but don't know anyone who has had one - personal accounts will help me choose between this or the baby jogger city select! Thanks!

We got the Baby Jogger City Select with the second seat attachment so we don't have to get another stroller when we have baby #2 (still growing baby #1 right now!)

we had to buy one on a tight budget.
so, i picked up the mothercare xpedior (4 wheeler) yesterday in green. i love it.

I'm getting the 3 wheel xpedior. Wanted plum colour but I think it looks more pink than plum so I'm still undecided on colour

yeah, the plum looks like a deep magenta.
we're having the green one, because we do want a second child after this one, it's unisex and nicer than just black

I hated how long it was in double mode, very heavy to go up and down kerbs etc. But I also hated that in double mode you couldnt have the carrycot or anything in parent facing mode. They both had to be outward facing. When you have both seats on, or carrycot and seat it's near impossible to reach the child/baby in the lower seat/carrycot. You have to take the top seat off in order to get to the baby in the lower seat. It just wasn't practical at all when actually using it.

My eldest was 19 months and my youngest a newborn when we first got it. It's just my opinion though, I hear of lots of ladies who love theirs. I must admit I'd do anything to avoid a double again. My youngest will be 2.5 when this new baby arrives and there's not a chance I'd get a double. It would have to be an absolute last resort. Lol. I will be either wearing baby and pushing my 2.5 year old if she's being lazy, but most likely she will be walking alongside me or on a buggy board.

Not getting one and don't have one already, have plenty of pretty alternatives though ;)

how do you get on with exclusive babywearing?
it's what i wanted to do but OH doesn't feel comfortable so we bought a friend's pram as well for him. (i'm glad in a way in case babywearing doesn't work out for me!)
is it easy to get about and do your everyday tasks? are there any times that you wish you had a pram with you? (sorry for all the Q's but i realllllly want to do this!)

I'm going for the Baby Zen Yoyo, although haven't ordered it yet. Lightweight and folding very small are the main attractions as it's much more practical than any others I've seen for where I live. The only unfortunate thing is that there's no option to connect a car seat, but as we don't use the car too often hopefully it won't be too much of a problem

I got the babyjogger city select. Using it with just one seat then will either buy another seat or the glider board when this lo arrives. I've already got the adapters and tried it out with my friends baby in the maxi cosi cars seat attached.

So far I love it. Easy to fold, easy to push, love the handbrake, plus it fits comfortay in my ford ka boot (just take one wheel off).

Only downside is it's quite heavy with two in but never tried another double to compare.

Pop also got the carrycot converter kit thrown I. In turns the seat frame into a lovely carrycot so no need for a separate newborn one that only last a few months :)

We sold our pushchair when DD was 10 months because it hadn't even been out the house since she was about 6 months and had been barely used before that! She's now 3 and personally I've never had any regrets as exclusive babywearing just really suits us. If we go out shopping and I know I need to get quite a bit I take a shopping trolley (Ikea usually have some really nice ones) and it means we can still go up escalators and stairs.

Lots of people I know like to use a mixture of the two though so it's really a case of try it and see, even though they don't work for us I know pushchairs can be an extremely useful tool for others :)

If you have a sling library near you I'd suggest popping along even if you think you're sorted as they are a mine of information and feel free to pm me if you'd like to as well :flower:

Just got our Steelcraft Strider Compact out of lay-by. We live in a small country town and other mothers in the area advised us not to get a 3-wheeler coz of the local terrain, so we went with their advice. Seen a couple of mums down the street with this one and they all said it was great, easy to steer with one hand, and really durable.

I've just ordered the Hauck Duett tandem.

It was £400+ but I got it for £180 on Tesco direct. £20 discount if you spend over £100 on baby items

So it was on sale for £201, and I got another £20 off.. Woop, lol had to share my bargin.

This weekend I fell in love :cloud9:

I got the Stokke Xplory, went for the whole package with car seat, carry cot etc. It's about four times what I expected to spend on a pram, but I honestly couldn't resist.

Stokke is an amazing brand and I CAN NOT WAIT for it to be delivered in Sept.

I'll be using the Peg Perego pram I used with my other three (and my sister used it with her two!). I don't see the point buying new things if there's nothing wrong with the one we already have :)

aww thank you! :)
I don't think we have any kind of sling meets or libraries here :nope: babywearing is very rare in my area and the few who do it get lots of funny looks and remarks.
i honestly think i won't use the pram as long as bubs is fine with being carried. i can't even push a shopping trolley! selling it would mean lots of lovely new wraps!

if you don't mind, i'll pm you as it would be nice to ask some Q's to someone who carries regularly, as we don't really have anyone to ask around here :(

We ordered a Graco Evo in pitstop but ordered the Carrycot in red. Cannot wait till delivery day x
