What things make us proud about being single mummies?

I'm not usually boastful and I'm not overly good at anything really but I am a good mum!!

My LO is 3 months old and he is such a happy content little boy. I take him to baby group and the supermarket and everyone comments how happy he is....
(he was making such a racket squealing and laughing in the trolley yesterday)

I feel so proud - I know if fob was on the scene - LO would of experienced his selfishness and I believe he would not be the lovely little boy he is today.

What makes you happy or proud about your LO.

I'm proud that my little man is a wonderfully happy, independant, content & friendly baby.

People always comment on how beautiful he is & what a stunning smile he has.

I know if FOB was still around he would he would be a withdrawn, clingly, grumpy baby as he wouldn't ever feel secure.

So yeah, I'm proud of my boy for being such a pleasure. He amazes me daily.

Im proud that my daughter even if she does have the odd tantrum is exceptionally well behaved and happy go lucky. Shes so independent and just loves everyone. People always tell me how beautiful she is when i walk down the street and she will go up to anyone i know and ask to be picked up and give them massive hugs espcially any of my male friends im so glad that not having her dad around hasnt had a negative effect on her reaction to men

I love how cute my little boy looks in 'little man' clothes and I'm proud that people think he's handsome and gorgeous. I am also proud that we are a team working together, getting to know each other and have our routines and little words ' woobie bear' for his fav toy and little songs to get him to sleep.

Like others have said, if FOB actually was in his life, the negativity that man produces would make my son depressed and look at all the crappy stuff in life instead of growing up a happy little chappy.

I think I'm proud that Maria now has two separate parents that are devoted to her and enjoy their time with her and that she is coping so well with the split.

Im proud that my children are doing so well in school, they have thier moments but are generally well behavedl, especially my daughter, she' so bright and grown up for her age, coming from a broken home it would be understandable if they wernt doing so well, my kids are deff a credit to me !
