What to do with his clothes???

We don't have a SCBU here, and no charity shops  It's a nice idea to donate to a good cause, but here I don't know of any.

The really special clothes (the coming home outfit, a pair of tiny socks, a gorgeous dress) I will keep for her. Perhaps she wants to dress up her dollies when she's older too, so I can keep some simple outfits for that.

With the other stuff; I'm keeping everything in case we have another baby. Some people may say that they have no space to store them, but the three of us live in a cramped one-bedroom granny flat, and we manage to find space for LO's baby clothes; whether it be under the bed, on top of the wardrobe, or in the ceiling-high, 3-metre-long pile of boxes in the hallway - we moved abroad, and are waiting to move into permanent residence :haha: I would rather store them than chuck them, and if we have another daughter we would have to buy them all over again :dohh:

Once we're done having kids, I assume we'll either sell on ebay or give to friends; though I would like to keep them for my brothers when they have kids. I think it's nicer to be able to give to family. If it was friends, I would probably give a few things to lots of different people, because they're going ot want to buy things themselves, and I'd rather they genuinely wanted our things, rather than give them and they accept reluctantly.

I have all of Emma's clothes stored in a pink plastic tote and I plan on keeping them until we are sure that we're done having kids. Which it's a good thing we have big closets because I keep all toys, etc too. :flower:

I keep one or two of my favourite outfits for memory sake and the rest I give to needy people or the babies home which our church runs. We live in South Africa so there are loads of people who are so needy and lots of orphanages too so it' not hard to get rid of things.

sell them to me :) haha, only joking,
I usually keep favourite/sentimental things and give away/sell the rest x

im in a tiny flat at the mo so i cant really store things, ive sold a couple of bundles for really cheap on ebay, as i know i appreciated getting a whole bunch of stuff for next to nothing before Casey was born, plus a make a little bit of money back, so it works out good. x

Ive kept a few bits and sold others on here/Ebay. xx

I am keeping the ones i want to keep and the rest depending on the condition are going to local charity shop which funds local kids club and the anything else goes on ebay. In fact there is a free listing day this saturday and sunday so its not going to cost you to try :)

I kept everything from my son for baby number 2. But I had a girl, so I kept a few of my favourites, passed some on to my sister in law and a friend, and sold the rest. Now we are done, so as DD out grows her clothes, I'll pass them on or sell them, plus keep a few favs.

Even though I might not ever have another baby I've kept everything so far. Just not ready to part with anything!

Ive given them to a charity shop and sold the better stuff on Ebay

I'm giving the tiny baby things to the local SCBU, keeping a few treasured things, giving the girl clothes to my sister for her new baby thats due soon and then selling the rest on ebay:) might aswell make some money lol! xxx

I am donating it too, I just feel like selling it is more trouble so a friend of our maid is giving birth soon and I already gave all Isabella's clothes up to six months. Her closet must be bursting lol

I cant bear to part with any of mine :( I kept his really nice outfits, coming home outfits etc then for each thing said ''oo I can't give that away, it reminds me of that time...'' so now my excuse to OH is they're for the next one if its another boy! But i know i'll want to buy new for him too so thats a lie lol. My friend is having a boy in Jan and ive promised her a bag of clothes - it's gonna break my heart but he has so many, I can't keep every outfit hes ever had until he's a toddler!!
XX

The good items I'm keeping for my sisters baby - should it be a boy. If she has a girl, I'll keep them for our number 2.

The cheapy Tesco/asda stuff, I'm probably just binning.

The REALLY special bits are going in my memory box.

Nicola xx
