Hi all, I'm new here and I just want to get some recommendations on what resources you guys are looking at. Books? Mobile apps? Any suggestions would be really helpful, it's all so overwhelming!

I'm assuming you mean pregnancy books :)

I personally have no read any and I'm not sure if I will. I tend to lurk on baby forums all the time and whenever I'm having a concern I just ask on here :)

I've ordered this;

https://www.ebay.co.uk/ctg/Day-by-D...and-Amazing-Images-Every-Single-Day-/89765038

As a few people have recommended it to me.

I'll also be buying a hypnobirthing book as I want to do it.

xx

Hi and welcome :D I have an app on my iPhone called sprout :D I love it! I also have a book from my 1st pregnancy called pregnancy bible, really good to read :thumbup:

I like https://www.visembryo.com/baby/index.html for the first trimester.

I read pregnancy for dummies last time. Was good. There's lots of good apps out there too

I have this book and I read it everyday and it has some fantastic info in there. I would highly recommend it!.

This book has been passed down to me through a few friends and I find it super informative about so many different things having to do w/ pregnancy and childbirth!

I'm reading the Mayo Clinic Guide to a Healthy Pregnancy - it's pretty good!

I read What to Expect first time round and thought it was a pretty decent week-to-week guide. Was nice to read a little bit every Monday night and tell OH what baby was doing now. Plus useful stuff about birth etc as well.
Very US-centric though so some information didn't match up with UK practice.

I have the Sprout app and I am going to get What to Expect on my kindle. The Sprout app is great... I love it!

What to Expect When Expecting. Might not match procedural wise because various countries have different norms to medical care. But the book answers pretty much every worry you may have.

It provides weekly expectations as well has what to expect within a given month.

Definitely worth checking out.
