What was your first purchase?

We're at 14 weeks today and I'm just itching to get buying! Of course I'm holding out the best I can until our 20 week scan so we know what color to shop for (I'm not a fan of yellow)

So far we've gotten some cloth diapers and I bought a couple of onesies that were too cute to pass up but have been holding off on any of the "bigger" items or more clothes.

What was your first purchase for LO, and when you hit a big one, what was it?

The first thing I bought was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle onesie lol That was at around 11 weeks. We're not doing a big purchase until next week and that will be our crib bedding. We're lucky to have already been given a beautiful crib.

My biggest purchase was a preloved travel system at 16 weeks for £50.

A baby lotion and potion set thing by Johnsons at around 10 weeks and a hat, vest, leggings and socks set at around 11 weeks. Crib was bought at 14 weeks, travel system at 16/17 weeks.

we got a superman hoodie!

Just received my first big purchase-maxi cosi pebble car seat arrived on Saturday

Ordered our pram at 19 weeks though as there was a wait but won't get it until mid July.

The car seat goes with loads if different prams, and it's a good reputable brand-definitely recommend maxi cosi

Pram wise-you'll find the right one for you, and no harm going in mothercare and test driving a few (whilst having a look at baby clothes!)

I bought this blanket lol I Love Simba and the Lion King as it was one of my favorites when I was little. Hopefully my son loves it too!
I am waiting to see what family gives me before I buy anything else though, but I want to buy the rest of the set that the blanket goes to as well.

Thank you! There's also things like a mobile, crib bedding set, and security blankets that go with it. I'm excited to get them too. I am getting a crib, some boy clothes from friends and a car seat bought new from another family member too. Hopefully I can get a baby shower arranged also!

I cant wait to use the poddle pod the reviews are out standing after having 1 baby that hated sleeping on their back and another baby that at 3 months wouldnt sleep full stop so hoping to use it right from.the start and have a good sleeper

I wish they came in adult size, it looks so comfortable.

When do we start making baby registries? I know my MIL wants to throw a shower for me come October since November becomes a hectic month in our families and babiesrus has a deal where you get "points" that equal cash back similar to wedding registries toward purchases that are made on your registry so would it be bad taste to start making one once we begin to make purchases even if it's long before the shower?

I had scans at 5 weeks and 7 weeks at about 9 weeks we bought coach built pram - was a bargain we couldn't miss

We bought the crib and dresser first.... it was VERY early on in the pregnancy that we did it. We wanted a particular one and it was on a great sale, so we got it.... it was tough as I just prayed that we would have a healthy pregnancy!
