What were/are your bumps called?

He started as Clarrissa (blame my mother watching far too much 'Two Fat Ladies' :p) & When we found out he's a boy it changed to Marvin. Or Chunky.

Actually my nick names haven't been very nice ):

Mine was called mini P as we didn't know the sex and all my friends since I got married call me Mrs P!

We don't call her it now though, although sometimes we call her miss P but it doesn't sound right!!

xx

I had my first scan at 9 weeks for some unknown reason and so my bump was still really small.

She looked just like a squashed jelly bean so we called her Beanie.

Beanie stuck for about a week after Paige was born but it just didnt work the same.

Ralph. Holly's cousin named the bump and we carried on calling her Ralph even when we knew she was a girl. Ralph even had her own facebook page, with updates on life in the womb. They were written by DH and some were probably a bit inappropriate - along the lines of 'I wish Mum would uncross her legs so I could watch the telly' :haha:

All of my bumps have been called bean :) I'm not sure why it just seems to be what me and DH name them each time. I don't think I've ever called them that on the outside, although they do occasionally get called 'baggage' in a nice way of course!! lol

I started off calling my bump 'harry bump' not sure why, I didn't know the gender!!
Then once I found out the gender it felt weird calling her harry bump so her new nickname was jitterbug (because she moved so much!), junebug (due in june) or just lyla (the name we chose :) )xx

We called my bump Shimmy because we didnt know the sex (she/him) we dont call her that now though, but i do call her missy moo!

gavin  my grandad always used to say is gavin alright lol because he loved the name.

<3

My LO was called her name once I found out she was a girl at 20 wks and towards the end she was called heffalump instead becuase they told me she was so big and my bump was massive lol x

As we both support a football club nicknamed the cobblers we called ours 'little cob' then when he cam out a boy we both agreed that Jacob would be quite fitting so he still is my little cob! (not sure what we would have done if a girl came out!!)

Althoug my Grandad calls him Jacob cream cracker!

I used to call mine 'beanie baby', 'sproggles', and 'sprogalot' (have no idea where the last two came from!) I still call Jessica by these nicknames now and have added a few stranger variations as well!

Bob! As soon as we found out he was a boy we just joked we'd call him bob as we had no idea what we would really call him and it stuck.. He was very nearly a Bobby when he was born x

i called her "cupcake" and DH called her "nippette" :D we do still use them sometimes!

C was Baby Bear and Bear Cub cause my nickname for hubby includes Bear.

Leechling because it literally felt like she was sucking the life out of me for the first 20 odd weeks. I have never been so ill!

We don't use it now, because it sounds quite mean really!

we were on team yellow, but cos OHs surname is duckett, ours was the duckling :) and although we named him edward, he's been teddy from day one, sure he's going to hate me for it once he's bigger lol!!

My bump was Bertie he is still that more than he his Finley atm  x

My DD was spud or squidge... not sure why! she still is baby spud or baby squidge now! And sometimes we call her Isabella!

My bump had two names was Bambino from the start and then my Mum had a dream that we had a boy and named him Clive so that stuck aswell. My Mum waeightht about having a boy but we didn't call him Clive x

This made me laugh so much. Typical man x
