What were/are your bumps called?

We called my bump Frostie my mum actually coined the name I found out I was pregnant before christmas but due to bleeding and cramping had to have regular blood tests every 48 hrs I had already suffered 3 losses so it was a very difficult time not knowing and my drs was not hopefull we were home before and for christmas so had most of the bloods done while at my mum & dad's. We had one day waiting for a second lot of results (the first lot had shown my hcg levels doubling) and I was stood in the kitchen with my mum looking out the window the garden was covered in snow as it was very icey and snowy last december, I was scared and close to tears and trying to hold on to hope my mum put her arm round me and said our little frostie will be okay from that moment on the baby was called frostie and he proved the dr's wrong and that he was a little fighter. We call him it occassionly but my mum bought him a cuddly polar bear when he was born and that has been named frostie in his honor.

My little girl was Bubba, we still call her that now.

After hoping for a 'sticky bean', my yellow bump became 'the bean' & this evolved into Beanie quite soon. I was convinced I was having a boy so Beanie was always male. In the first few weeks we hardly called him Rex! We're starting to call him by his proper name more now but me & DH still call him Beanie a lot of the time, especially when it's just the 3 of us.

at first, my bump was called bumpling, but when he became too enormous for that to be appropriate, and his movements looked like he was trying to burst out, hubby started calling him belly monster.

we don't use either of those now - when he was born, hubby called him his 'little bud' and that stuck. now that he's bigger that has evolved into 'little fella'. he still doesn't respond to his name - probably because we hardly ever call him it! we are trying to make more of an effort now, though!

Lol, i created a ticker thing when i found out i was pregnant & she was the size of a mango & it stuck from there!! Lol. I still call her it sometimes & she giggles.

I called mine Peanut, because my mom shrieked that when I handed her the first ultrasound picture (done 12 weeks! I was late to figure it out, lol) and that name has stuck.
I also would very lovingly refer to the bump as my "Inner Demon", because I was ravenous for a number of bizarre cravings, and food that I used to love, I couldn't touch because it made me so nauseated to even smell it. So when she's being naughty she's "the demon," but that one will go away once she starts talking..

This made me laugh out loud! How cute!
