What would you do?

My OH's sister phoned us up a few weeks ago and said as a gift, me and my OH can have her pram and car seat for nothing in jan when she buys a new one, i've no idea what it looks like or anything, so 4 days ago i sent her a message on facebook asking if she could send me a pic of the pram so when we have our scan in 2 weeks time we can buy pram blankets to go with the pram, it didn't have to be anytime soon as her son's only nearly 3 month old and he has a cold at the mo.. anyways she sent me one back sayin she'd try an do it that day, then messaged me that night sayin she hadn't managed to take some photos but would do it the next day. I'm just wondering how long i should leave it before i maybe message her again, i kno she's obv busy and will do it when she has a spare few mins, but at the same time, i've no idea what it looks like etc and my mam said before i even got pregnant that she'd like to buy us the pram, and if i'm not keen on my OH's sisters pram, i'd like to give my mam some time to sort out money wise.

Def wait a while, i think its nice when people offer things, if you dont like it im sure you can always say as this is your 1st baby? you'd like to pick out things for LO,im sure she would understand

Could you ask her what make and model it is then look for pictures online to save her the hassle of taking pictures if she is busy? Then you can look at your leisure before making your decision.

I agree with Big Betty, maybe ask her the make and model so you can have a little look yourself online? You could just tell her you want to get and idea of the size etc?

My OH's sis offered us her pram a while ago and I felt awful saying 'no thanks' but its out first baby and we want to choose everything ourselves from new. Luckily, my MIL interupted and said she had already offered to buy our pram! Awkward situation averted!

Its really nice when people offer you things and I will probably do it myself when we are done with LO's things but it makes it so difficult if you don't want/like it!

yeah i asked if she could tell me the make an model of the pram so i could look it up online, or send some pics, and she said she'd send some pics.. lol. but yeah i guess we have a while yet.
