whats a chemical pregnancy

hi, whats a chemical pregnancy ive heard of it but no idea what it is? i know i may sound abit dumb to some! hehe!
someone else posted about it, is it a m/c?

Its a very very early miscarriage hun.

No need to be embarassed about asking..I had no idea until I had one!!

ah thanks im with you now, how early does it have to be, less than 5 wks?

Its usually when you have had a +ve HPT then start bleeding a few days later
Its when the egg is fertilised but dies soon after implantation. You usually get a heavier period and blood clots and cramping. This is what I experienced last week.

I wouldnt worry, its the very early stage of pregnancy, when I had one at 16 I didnt even know I was pregnant!! I went to the doctors and he confirmed it.
