What's the difference?

Hi Ladies,

My period is a bit later... Nothing to worry about yet (I don't think! ), but in addition, my breasts/nipples have been excessively sore. I did some research and found that it could either be a symptom of PMS or it might be an early sign of pregnancy. I don't think I'm pregnant as my husband and I are very safe and are waiting a while to TTC. I'm just curious if any of you have experience one or the other or maybe even both and can differentiate the feeling for me? Thanks so much!

Oops! I meant my period is later than usual/late.

The only difference I can remember was that with normal period changes I get slightly sore nipples - with pregnancy I had slightly sore nipples (the same) BUT they looked darker really early on, before AF was even due. I have VERY light nipples since I have red hair so any darkening is noticeable almost straight away!
