When AF returned, was it wonky?

I had my first pp AF when LO was 6 months. Now she is 9 months, and I haven't had anything since. I'm still breastfeeding 4 times a day, but she's been sleeping 12 hours at night for months. I'm not pregnant. I just need to hear this happened to other ladies. I kind of expected things to be a little off, but not to have a period once then nothing for 3+ months.

After my first I think it took 8 months for AF to come back, and yes it was veeeeery wonky! I was having irregular 40 to 60+ day cycles for a while. I had regular 27 day cycles again by the time my baby was 14 months old, and then conceived again when he was 16 months old.

I wasn't even breastfeeding and mine were wonky. Not sure why. If you're still nursing, it can definitely affect your cycles.

No sign of AF yet for baby#2... I'm still nursing him very frequently though.

Wouldn't you know...I panic and post on here about no AF for 3 months, and AF showed up later that night. So I guess 90 day cycles for a while? Awesome.
