When can I test?

We are meant to be WWT #2, but we sort of put ourselves into the TWW instead... whoops ;-) My LMP was 9/29. My cycle ranges from 25-31 days in length, with most being 28/29 days. I don't know for sure when I ovulated, but we DTD twice unprotected mid-cycle. When should I test? I have a target brand HPT, if that matters. I'd like to test so I can stop thinking about it, but I don't want to waste a test earlier. I promised I wouldn't test without DH home, so I need to have a convincing reason to be testing. Obviously I can wait until I'm still late at CD 32 as that's long for me, but I'm wondering when I could test before and get an accurate result.

A good day to start testing would probably be Friday. I got my LMP on 9/28 and had an IUI on 10/11. I get my beta blood test tomorrow to find out. I am on a similiar cycle to you.
