when did u get your c section date?

now im having a planned c section due to three previous so i actually should know the answer t this but i just cant remember lol i recall i didnt get a date for my csection until i was around 36wks last time but my appointment with the ob is in august will they give me a date then ill be 6 months pregnant r will i have to wait til last minute again im getting loads of pressure from my mum about booking time off when i have the baby cos she will be having my other kids and i keep explaining to her that i dont know until they bloody tell me and she just says well i need to know! :S

i would ask at ur next ob appointment. i will get mine at the end of the month when i am 30weeks. if my hospital had a longer booking schedule my ob would have had been booked for 39wks at my 20wk appoint. but i am in Australia too

I had my appointment last Thursday and my consultant filled in the forms and said ill get the date in the post so I guess anytime from 31 weeks, I would ask at the next appointment x

just had my 35 week appt today...had my section booked in that appt for 39 weeks. Thats in the UK.

I'm in UK. They weren't going to book me until 36 weeks (am 31 now) but i saw a consultant yesterday and they were talking about booking me in then. Though baby appears to be large so they're rerunning GTT and doing a growth scan in the next two weeks, so should be given my date after they've run those. I suppose it's because both of those may want them to bring date forward.

I asked this on mon at 28 week appointment and they said routinely it's booked at 36 week appointment.

Mine was scheduled when I was around 36 weeks, but my Doctor said that many OB's schedule far more in advance. It wouldn't hurt to ask.

I posted a thread like this, as I wanted to have an idea of when dh could take his vacation week, and whe i could take my leave.

my last appt was23.3 wks, and was told the scheduling would be about 30 wks.

I'm in US, alot in UK don't seem to get planned til later, about the 35-36 wk mark.

your mother just has to be patient!
