I noticed a bit in DS's baby book that says "first scribble" and I also saw on a friend's FB where she posted a pic of her LO colouring (and the LO is only a week or so older than DS).
I mentioned to DH that I wanted to get DS some crayons today (since he's nearly 9 mos -- next week), and DH replied, "Why? So he can EAT them?"
True, he puts nearly everything in his mouth...but it's not like I would hand him the box and leave him unsupervised. I'd like to give him one or two colours and see what he thinks.
This made me wonder when others plan to let their LO use crayons to colour and make scribbles? Or if your babes are older...when DID you let them experience this?
