When did you start using a pillow and duvet?

Just wondering when you ladies started using a duvet and pillow for your LO's...little bit clueless of what the do's and don't are relating to this as my LO has been in grobags since I can remember.

I was just thinking about the same thing. My little one is about the same age as yours (bday 13th Oct) and we're in hampshire too (north)! our house is quite cold though in the winter so think she may be best staying in sleep bags if she will so she stays snuggled but she is starting to tie herself in knots some nights!

Oooh someone close by, it's a first, I haven't found anyone local on here yet! I'm in Andover in Hampshire - where abouts are you?
Yeah I think we're going to stick to grobags but I have felt reallly cold tonight and I know I love being all warm and snuggly with a duvet and don't know when the "right" time is supposed to be!

My LO has had a duvet for a couple of months, it was a winter weight wool one, now just a light quilt. She also has a sleeping bag

I think they say 12 months. I've been thinking about it but get too paranoid, even though I'm fine with her sleeping it my bed lol

We're getting one in a couple of weeks when we move house and redo lo's room! He wiggles out of blankets and sheets so not sure how he'll take to it, but he won't sleep in sleeping bags now either! He'll be just under 1 year, the "rules" state 12 months is fine for duvet and pillow x
