when did your baby grow out of his infant car seat?

My infant car seat says til 10 kilo or 22 pounds i think
when did your LO grow out of theirs my baby is about 8 kilo now at 4 months..
how long have I got .. lol?

P.s. I thought they lasted til a year old!

i just bought Oscar one and he is nearly 8 months. Mind you, he is a very very big boy, he wears 9-12 months clothes, and regularly asked if he wants to comeout of the buggy to run around

I'd use it until the max weight recommended no sooner then time to move over

I bought Caitlin her next seat a couple of weeks ago - cor its big

Colton outgrew it last month. I bought him a 3 in 1 now, its rear facing till 30lbs, front facing 20-40lbs, and converts to a booster 40-100lbs.
I have him front facing though.

they have to be 9 months old and able to support their own head properly for 30 mins and no smaller that 22lbs, when i went for a new car seat in mothercare for jack they would not let me buy it as he was 7 or 8 months old and he was very long and the right weight but not 9 months x

I will have to get max a new one soon too as hes already reached the max lenght im waiting on the 22lbs now lol
