As title says really!... How pld were they when they made that transition? Thanks x

My LO was eating decent sized portions at 8-9months but didn't drop any milk till about 10-11months. It is about food in addition to milk for quite a while before it is food instead of milk.

My daughter started to decrease the amount she was having maybe around 8 months and then dropped a bottle (the overnight one) at 9 months. From about 10 months, they started to change in terms of the times when she was hungry for them, with the late morning milk shifting to after lunch about 1-2pm. Around a year, she was down to 3 cups (about 180ml) of cow's milk a day (first thing in the morning, mid-afternoon and before bed). I would say this was probably really when she started to eat more solids than milk, though she's always enjoyed food. From 15 months, she only had her bedtime milk, which she still has today.
