When do i need to see the midwife (uk)

This is my 3rd pregnancy so i should know but i really cant remember im only about 4 weeks so wont need to see her just yet but when should i book an appointment for? x

I called mine at about 8 weeks and saw her at 10 weeks. I figured there's nothing she could tell me and any actual care I needed in the first tri was via GP/EPAU anyway. I think only reason to call them earlier is if its hard to get a scan booked in your area.

I called my GP surgery when I found out and they booked me then to see the midwife at the surgery when I'm 6 weeks but think completely different all over the country!

I had to see the gp first then they booked me in with the midwife at 8 weeks . Happened the same with all 3 pregnancies x

I live in wales and I booked an appointment with gp as soon as I got a positive. She gave me a number to ring to book my scan. A day or 2 later a midwife rang me from my gp and told me to make an appointment with her when im 16 weeks
