hey girls
I got my first positive on OPK today whooooooo test line MUCH darker than control line so its defo a positive (day 17)
I heard this positive is telling me im ABOUT to ovulate (in next 12-36 hours) not that im actually ovulating, it says that on the leaflet and many sites say it to.
is that right? xxx that the egg is released 12-36 hours after the LAST positive.
If so, it means ill ovulate on xmas-boxing whoooooo

When it comes to taking ovulation tests, you always go off the FIRST positive opk you get. From that test, you count 24-48 hours and that is when you will ovulate. Any tests you take after the first opk don't mean anything. Some ladies will get positives for 3 days, some for only an hour, some for more than a week. It really depends on the person.
