when is everyone putting up the xmas tree??

When does everyone else put itup?

Also do u colour co ordinate? i do. I like it to match my decor with a few kids ones on too.

I'm putting mine up December 1st, or maybe just after if not on the exact day. I colour co ordinate too, though to be honest I did it by accident..I bought the tree and decorations before I redecorated, and I just got ones I thought looked good with the tree, and my room just happens to be the same colour scheme now I've redecorated

I usually do mine the first too but its the twins christening on the 2nd so ill b too busy.

I usually get mine up mid November, but this year I've been in hospital and I only just got let out and I haven't got round to it yet. Any day now though....

On 1st December, I can't wait! Although it could be fun this year with a crawling baby!

We're not putting the Christmas decorations up at all this year because we're going away on 21st December and not coming home until 8th January!

Usually though we put the decorations up 12th December and take them down 6th January! I'm going to take my lead from Tanwen from next year though as it's her birthday on 19th December and I'd like to keep that separate from Christmas/Yule if I can! If we decide to keep it separate then we'd put them up after she's gone to bed on her birthday so he can wake up the day before Yule starts to a fully decorated house! The period from 19th December- 1st January is a busy one for us as our Yule celebrations start on the night of 20th December, the day after Tanwen's birthday, with the leaving out of shoes filled with hay and similar for the arrival of the Wild Hunt so Tanwen gets chocolate money and coins in her shoes and ends with New Year's celebrations with Christmas in the middle!

I am not sure whether we will go with a real tree or a fake tree. If it is a fake tree, I plan to put it up once December 1st rolls around. If it is fake, I will wait until the middle of December before I put it up and plan to leave it up about a week or so after New Year's.

Normally I would have put the decorations up a week ago, but this year I am unsure of where to put the tree. One of our dogs has severe seperation anxiety and I can see her taking a ball off the tree and swallowing the glass, just like she did with a razor blade .
I might put it upstairs away from her in the tv area.
I dont color co-ordinate, Im no good at matching colors

That is a good idea, I will go check those out! thank you! Unfortunatly she is about 110 pounds and can crush anything in her mouth, and she seems to have a liking to chewing the lights on the tree
Our dog is taking away christmas joy Maybe just a plain tree with nothing on it?

I once went out with someone whos dog used to poo n pee under the tree. It did it all over the presents. I actually stook up for the dog tho as thats where it done its poos n pees outside. He he.

I had a cat yrs ago who used to run up the middle n try n chew the wires. If its not kids its pets

We put ours up after the 14th. Its Joshua's birthday then so I don't want Xmas to be seen as more important as his birthday.

Mines already up! Our Christmas decorations aren't colour coordinated in any way, if we like it, we buy it. We also have lots of little decorations the children made at school and I think they look amazing on the tree as they are lots of little memories xx
