When is the right time to have another?

I currently have a 5 year old boy, 3 year old boy and 1 year old girl!

I really want another one, we can afford it and both really want one just don't know if now is the right time, should I wait until my middle child goes into school? I work part time, I'd love a big family but can't be doing with everyone's negative comments ( family and friends) I work, he works everyone judges us because I'm young 23.

How old are you children and does anyone have 4 under 6? How do you manage?

There's never a "right" time in my opinion. There's always going to be a reason, not enough money, my youngest is too young, I want to lose weight, etc... It should be whenever feels right for you and your family. If you want to go for another, then I think you should do it.

And as for what other people think, forget about them. They're going to have an opinion of what you're doing being right or wrong no matter what time you have another.

Well said, Mushymilkfor2! You know, my baby is about a week away from being 5 months old, and my husband and I are already TTC. Many factors have played into our decision, but as soon as my doctor gave us the green light, we were ready. We want a big family (well, 3 or 4 kids) and while I'm still young (23 also) I know I want to be completely done having kids by the time I'm 30, and hopefully before so I can go back to work. We want a small age gaps for many reasons, and even though I know we're going to catch so much crap from everyone, it's what we want and works best for our family. That what you should do too. It's your decision and no one else's!

If you feel it's something you and your family are ready for and can handle, I say go for it. There is never truly the "right" time. As they say, you'll never regret having children but you may regret not.

Totally agree with pp's it's when it's right for you. I fell pregnant with our little surprise baby when ds2 was only 7 months old and I was genuinely so upset. Now I think it's perfect and can't wait for baby to be here but as more and more people are finding out I'm getting a lot of comments. It's completely what works for you.
