when should bump start showing???

im 15 weeks and 5 days, iv heard that if you a big preson bump dont start showing untill around 22 weeks! im not skinny but im not fat lol, iv got a bit of a wobbly belly in a size 14!! can you tell more if you got a bump if you breath in a bit lol, it may sound silly but just would like some advive when a bump shpuld start showing up?

Everyone is different hun, there is no set time that you can start showing.
Im sure it wont be to long before you have a big bump

theres no right time for it to start showing. Im a size 14-16, and my bump wasnt really noticeable to strangers till 19-20 weeks. Family who see me a lot could tell sooner tho x

Im quite slim, i started showing around 15 weeks but as these ladies say...everyone is different!

Id say the 20 week mark is a good turning point for most people's bumps!!

I'm 18weeks 2days and was a size 10 before becoming pregnant, i haven't got much of a noticeable bump i just look like i've piled on a bit of weight! I'm sure it won't be long until i 'pop' and actually look pregnant, i can't wait to get out of the 'fat' stage haha xx

I'm 14 weeks and 3 days and there's no hiding it any more! I have been told by people that my baby does look rather big in the scan pics but my dates all match up... Dear oh dear!

I am 17 weeks on sat and still not sure if I am getting bigger or not I think I am but its still not noticable when I am dressed. I am a size 14-16 too

I thought it simply depended on your figure, but apparently not. I'm a 10/12, and 15 + 4 and I have no bump to speak of I honestly thought I would show a lot earlier because my friend (the same size) was showing at 10 weeks.

When I eat I puff out, so the people that know I'm pregnant start cooing over my "bump", but as soon as it's digested, it's back down to what it was. The annoying thing is when people grab my belly to feel it, and it's squidgy I've spent the last 2 years dieting, so my body's very private for me; I'm not used to people feeling the fattest part of me!

My mum (a size 12) said she started showing at about 18 weeks, and my stepmum (a size 14) said she didn't show until she was about 26 weeks

It really seems to depend on the person and I don't know if pre-pregnancy size is even a good indication as I've had curvier friends who showed quite early and tiny friends who showed later. I was a size 2 before pregnancy but also very short and though I could tell early on, I didn't really 'Show' (i.e. strangers didn't notice) until probably 18 weeks or so with it being SUPER obvious from about 20 weeks on.

I am 16 wks tomorrow and I def have a bump, (although not big enough for anyone to stand up for me on the tube yet .. heehee) I moved onto maternity trousers around week 9, but that was more because i couldnt bear anything digging into my tummy. I reckon I started showing noticably around 14 weeks.

My bump is also definitely bigger in the evenings than the morning ... very strange. Or maybe cos thats cos I eat more in the day ;-)

i was size 16 before getting pregnant. Im now 23 weeks and this is my bump. I had a belly before hand though, so really its mostly just my fat pushed out!!

I just popped out last week! I grew 2 inches in a day! lol it is just sooo different for everyone but don't worry love you will show before you know it!

Im an aberage size 14, but at 5"9 i carry it well, you can't tell im oregnant until a ngiht when i get in bed when i can see a tiny bumping shape, to all strangers i dont look pregnant..and im 18 weeks and 4 days xx

i'm just starting to get a visible bump now, but even then it really isn't very noticeable - only people who know me well would realise! i was a bit pee'd off about it to start but now i am thinking perhaps fewer stretch marks so bonus!!

i was a size 14 also before and got a lil bump at about 12/13 wks and someone from work and family member commented tht they could see a bump so i think it varies some show ealier then other and depends if you have a baby i think lol

It really does differ from person to person.

I'm just 15 weeks and I can tell, as can hubby, that I look different. It used to be bloat and in the morning I was flat again but now I have a little bump in the mornings. However, no-one outside of family and close friends can tell - it just looks like a little pot-belly to them!

I agree it is frustrating though! I would like more of a bump....!

I agree it differs depending on your own body type.

I was very slim size 8/10 pre-preg- started to notice my flat stomach going around 18wks.

A noticeable bump appeared around 24wks.

I do have the tiniest cutest bumps ever and am now 31wks!!

I love my bump
