when to get crib ect ready???

hey ladies when are you getting your cribs,prams ect ready??? i need to get mine out and wash them as they are in storage but wondering is it far to early to do it now?? xx

I bought my pram but its on order and wont be picking it up until January as don't want it in the house until then, but I bought my cot and its up (no bedding on it yet though) currently im using it to hold all my other babies bits and bobs.

I would set it up, but not put sheets on yet incase they get dusty. go on you know you want to

Last time around we built the crib and stroller about 36 weeks and put the car seat base in about the same time. This time around Euan is in the crib and we have a bassinet in the garage that I will use for the first 6 months at my bedside... and i guess I will at least wash all the bedding and the sidings about 35-36 weeks and then bring it in a bit closer to due date. I dont want alot of stuff in the house that I wont use just sitting around for awhile. We need to get a new stroller so kinda looking on the internet but have not found one that like yet but will get that about 30 weeks ish maybe as for doubles I think sometimes you need to order parts.

i'm buying my crib today...when i get my baby room straightened out(hopefully by tomomrrow) i'm going to have my husband put the crib together!!! i'm so excited!!! i don't think i'm too early i think i'm being optimistic!!!!

I put the cot up the day it arrived but have all my other baby bits in it.

I have just got through a bumper and bedding set with mobile and am itching to set it all up,but on the other hand i dont want everything done to soon.

I will no doubt end up doing it very soon lol,and i will just keep it covered with a huge sheet(just so i can keep peeking)

Ha ha, everyone is so funny, I know just how you feel

We are on our third, which will involve my eldest moving downstairs into what is currently the playroom, middle child (that sounds weird!!) moving into eldest's bedroom and Baby having small bedroom. It means before we can start doing anything we have to clear the playroom, then work backwards! It seems too early to do baby's room, and therefore all the others but it could take ages so we are going to start decorating the playroom in October and take it from there!!

I have a bag of baby stuff in my wardrobe but I am going to run out of space soon!

I've had my pram paid off for over a month now but im not having it delivered until first week of november and hopefully someone will be saving it for me i do NOT want it in my house.

His cot is up because it was a shop show and didnt have boxes so its been up since i was 18 or 19 weeks

We are starting his room in about 2 weeks hopefully

hmmmm well i think ill get hubby to get the basket & pram out and ill wash everything....then see how i feel about it all hahaha!
