When to go for GD test?? Suggestions..

In which I mean, maybe you can help me figure out when I'll be considered 24 weeks.

Original due date was November 28th, so that makes me 22 weeks and 1 day. My family doctor is going by this and set up my RH needle surrounding this date.

Second due date OB is going with is November 24th, making me 22 weeks and 5 days.

THEN, every single time I have gone for an ultrasound they dated me weeks and days that didn't match up to either the 24th or 28th.

When I went for my anatomy scan they had me at 19 weeks 5 days, when I was 19 weeks 3 days according to the due date of the 28th. Or with a due date of the 24th it should have been 20 weeks 1 day...

See how confused I am? Nothing is consistent and I don't know what date to go with to get my GD test done! I'm supposed to go when I'm 24 weeks.

Ultrasounds, OB, and family doctor are all telling me different dates and weeks and days and I don't know what to stick with to get everything done! Grrr!

Can't you just schedule the appointment to do it the week of 24 weeks? It doesn't have to be on the specific day you hit it.

All your dates sound pretty close to me. Scans only give a date within 5 days more or less. And going by your last period (which is probably the first date you were given) can easily be off by a few days. Unless you know when you ovulated you just have to go with the most likely date. The official date is usually the one you are given at your dating scan between 10 and 13+6 weeks (which is probably what your OB is going by). That is usually the most acurate date. Later ultrasounds are not very acurate for giving the date.

Just go by LMP....they will give conflicting dates but as long they are within two weeks of LMP they will advise that.

I went for GD testing at the beginning of second tri and then again today so honestly smack dab in the middle of both trimesters would be fine!

I have two different dates too, one due date of the 27th which I was given twice with a private scan and when I had the NHS scan at 9 weeks I was given the due date of 31st, December that is! But I'm sticking with the 27th, my MW said they have to keep the NHS due date but as I get closer to term they will start to look at the due date I was given by my private scan.

I'd give your MW a call and have a chat with her if your worried, see what she says x
