I've being using Dr Browns since LO was 4 weeks. As soon as he started showing sign of pain/colic i gave him Dr Browns bottles. He is nearly 16 weeks now and a big boy and he really needs to go up to 8ozs, after you have put powder in the water it goes over the line and is leaking so I'm thinking of going back on to TT CTN again, do you think this will be a bad idea?. He is still on Infacol but need to give that up as well i should imagine. What is anyone else doing?. many thanks:thumbup:

I use dr brown bottles & never had leaks when I prepare 8 oz bottle. Did u try stiring the formula with a baby spoon?

Thanks i'll try that, i'm just wondering how long do i really need to carry on with them?

I still use them. We use them for reflux as Omar is not colicy (was when he was few weeks old). But as he's already weaned & not sicky anymore, I just use them out of habit  But if we go back to TT now I dont think it will make a difference for him. :flower: So I think 6 mnths is a good age as their digestive system is more mature.

I still use them too, was planning on using them all the time she was having milk in a bottle

We're in the same situation as you hun, changed from TT to Dr Browns. Erin has 8 oz bottles now, and we always stir them, and they seldom leak. Our problem now is that she is emptying her bottles, so should moving up to bigger feeds, but Dr Browns only fit 8oz in, so until she starts weaning i'll be having to make up 2 bottles for her each feed:wacko:
