I was just wondering what the signs are for LO being ready for the next stage teats? Or do you do it dead on 1/3/6 months? Thanks!x

Falling asleep on feeds, taking longer then usual to feed, general irritability when feeding....theres probably more though. I dont really think theres a need to change if you think LO is ok with the usual ones, we didnt anyway.

We swapped our LO to stage 2 teats at 3 weeks old as we changed her milk to comfort milk as it was thicker than normal stage 1. Shes still on the same ones now.

when they get bored/frustrated/fall asleep during a feed they are all signs of needing to go up a teat. Change when your baby is ready :flower:

Lo is nearly 3 mths but we have changed her to satge 3 TT teats this week as she was faling asleep on the bottle and getting fed up and craky:winkwink:

Even though she is not 3 mths yet she has been fine with the size 3 teats (whch say 6mths on the packet).

LO gets EBM and Aptamil.

i changed alfie over to stage 2 dr browns teats when he was just 2 weeks old..i think it all depends on your LO...his signs were falling asleep at the bottle due to tiredness from sucking, strong sucking sounds, crankiness and stopping at bang on 2 oz every time when we changed his teats hed finish his bottles awake finish the 4 oz..if you think your LO is ready then change them hun.

We've just changed Cobi's to stage 2 for the exact reasons as per Charlotte above. We've noticed a change she now finishs the bottles. I was a bit worried about changing as says 3 months on the packet but she's doing well with them x
