When was your baby born in comparison to LMP/Conception Date/Scan Date?

Hi girls,

This is a really simple question but I think I'm going to make it sound major complicated, sorry about that!!

Was basically just wondering when your baby was born in comparison to LMP/Conception Date and your Scan Due Date?

I know a lot of people say that their scan date put them later, or earlier, so for those of you who knew your LMP or conception date...how did the date you had the baby match up?

Just out of interest really!!

Was speaking to my sister in law about my niece...based on the scan date she was 3 days late, but based on my sister in law's LMP - she was bang on time! So was curious to hear of anyone elses experiences!!

my lmp put my dates 3 days behind the ultra sound dates, lo was born 2 weeks early

IJP was born on the first due date we were given at 6 week scan which matched our thoughts x

My dates from LMP was 1st March with DS ... Dating scan put me forward to 20th Feb! ... DS was born 5th March - so near enough bang on my date and 2 weeks late according to scan date

before i had my first scan - the midwife calculated the date from the first day of my last period which made me due date 23rd oct 2010 then when i had my scan my EDD was changed to 28th oct 2010 - when my baby was born on 21st oct 2010 they did the check to see how far gone he was going by length of finger nails, weight, fernix etc... which came back as 39 weeks and 5 days which means 40 weeks would have been spot on 23rd oct 2010 - my original date

my dating scan matched my LMP, but i gave birth at 36weeks 3days, 5lb 12oz. I always tried to have in my head that my due date was 2weeks after it was, IYKWIM? That way my thinking was that i wouldnt be dissapointed if baby arrived late! I also told other people the due date as 2weeks after my actual due date in a bid to stop the 'have you had the baby yet' texts, and people comming over to 'egg watch' haha. Baby had other ideas tho! X

scan edd was 12th april
Ollie was born 21st April

so LMP was more accurate for me xxx

LMP put my due date at 25th April
Scan put my due date at 23rd April
Ruby arrived on 2nd May, so 41+2 according to the scan, and 41 exactly according to LMP

LMP had me down for the 7th Sept
12 week scan said 12th Sept
Labour started on 6th Sept and tiny pants arrived on the 8th.

So my LMP was spot on.

Well I can't properly answer this question, because my baby was born 13 weeks early! However, I just wanted to say that the date I'd worked out going by my LMP, and the date I was given at the dating scan were both 13th June.

Hi hun, My due date I was given when I had my scan dated was the 7th July, Isabelle was born on the 1st July. However, due to possible complications that was expected in me giving birth I was given a stretch and sweep after being told I no longer needed to have a c-section. Isabelle arrived 6 days early. However, I think if I hadn't been given a s&s she would have been late.

my lmp gave me a due date of 17 july, but i knew when we'd conceived as i'd been charting, so i went with 20 july. my 12 week scan gave me an edd of 20 july. bella was born on 20 july.

When I worked it out it was 9th may,scan put me onto 30th april but he came out 9th may!

LMP and scan gave me the same due date and both my children were born at 37+4.

My LMP/dating scan gave me a due date of 24th February. My son was born 3rd March (7 days late).
I had an early scan at 6 weeks which measured for a due date of 19th February (meant LO would be 12 days late).
When my son was born the midwives said he was post dates so who knows! xx

lmp date 19th august, early scan date 28th august. 12 weeks scan date 19th august, baby born on 31st august. But midwife said was more than 3 days late due to poop in waters, length of nails etc, so going by 19th was 12 days late x

LMP made my due date as 9th August and scan put me at 10th August and my little elf arrived on 12th August!

My LMP was Aug 11 but they had given me a scan date of Aug 10 (not sure why lol). I went into labour on the 10th, had him on the 11th. But the mw said my placenta was deteriorated so he was probably late even with though I seemed to go on time.

lmp had me down as 20th jan, i knew that i ovulated on 16th jan as i was having fertility treatment, scan had it down as 21st january and she popped out on 9th jan !
