when will I get a bump.

I am new to baby and bump, I'm 21 and 12 weeks pregnant with my first,
can anyone tell me when they started to show a bump, because i need to try and hide my bump for as long as possible due to the university work experience I need to do and was wondering how long I have till its obvious I have a bump. Thanks Charlotte x

I was bursting out my jeans by 5 weeks whereas my sister barely showed and just wore baggy clothes.

Well how is your body shape? Are you thin, chubby? Everyone is different. I just started to show about 20 weeks. But it didnt even look like preggy belly it looked like i was eating too much hehehe

With my first pregnancy I didn't "show" until like 5 months or so. I mean, I had a tiny pooch before that but nothing that looked like preggo. And I started that pregnancy at 100 pounds!

I'm pregnant with my first and 17 1/2 weeks and have no bump. I'm short and normally a size 8 with a flat stomach. It's not as toned as it was but it certainly doesn't look like I'm pregnant, just a little bloated.

I didn't start to show until around 20 weeks. I was quite bloated throughout my pregnancy, though. Even now-- it just looks to extra weight!

I started showing around 20-22 weeks. I'm still quite small. Everyone carries differently so it's hard to say when you'd start to show. But I'm sure between 4-6 months. You'll see your lil bump in no time!

There is no set date you get a bump hun, some show early, some can still hide the fact they are pregnant at 6 months.......my Mum never showed til she was 7 months!!! x

I'm not showing at all. DH and I can see it and after I eat, people that know I'm prego see a little pooch, but that's it. I'm 5'9" and was a size 4 when I got pg, I'm barely a size 6 now. They are still too big for me. I was at clients all day yesterday with a tight shirt on and nobody even asked, I'm sure they just think I'm gaining holiday weight.

Everyone is different, it really depends on your body.
With my son I didn't start showing until I was 20ish weeks and it didn't really look like I was pregnant until around 24-26 weeks. This one was waaay sooner, by 15 weeks I was showing and I have a propper preggy bump now.

I'm 5'5 and probably weighed about 155 before being prego. A few people noticed that I started gaining weight, I just look like I'm getting fatter, but I wear baggy clothes now and try to hide as much as I can. I'm 9 weeks now and I'm still wearing normal clothes, but had to buy some bigger sizes. Don't know when I'll get my bump, I've been pretty bloated though. At least if you start showing, you can wear baggy clothes and blame the weight on the holiday eating. Good luck.... I think it all depends on your size though.

With my first pregnancy (one I wanted to hide from the general public as long as possible) I didn't show a decent recognizable preggo bump until I was 24 or 25 weeks along. I could still easily fit into a tight cocktail dress for a party I went to at 20-22 weeks. Those that knew I was pregnant worried a little for me thinking I wasn't progressing as I should, but I'm a tall woman and have wide hips so baby just hung out in my pelvis for 6 months before spilling out LOL

I'm not in as good of physical shape this time around, though my muscle tone in my tummy isn't that of a 21 year old, it's certainly come back from the first child almost 12 years ago. But even that said, I'm starting to show quite a bit sooner this time (though I'm not concerned about hiding it as I was the first time... in fact, I wore maternity clothes before I probably had to

Every woman, and pregnancy is different. I would think though that you can expect to be able to 'hide' the pregnancy from the university to 17-20 weeks if not a little longer.

Especially the way the styles are now, everything looks like pregnancy clothes anyway, so you can really hid it longer!

i'm convinced I'm already starting to show a pooch!
Last night ebfoer I'd eaten my dinner my belly looks round, higher up than my usual belly would be. And it seemed hard, not like a jelly belly!

I've definately put a bit of weight on already around the belly - leaving works trousers buttons undone when I can! hehe.

I read recently that skinny girls tend to show later whilst curvy women show earlier. Not sure if that's true really. I'm kind of between...UK size 12- 14 I guess..14 now for sure.
