When's To early to buy a pram?

I think it's bad luck to have any baby stuff in your house before the birth but I ignored it because I am not giving birth and then buying and assembling flatpacks someone I work with told me her Mum bought EVERYTHING the day her baby was born and the baby slept in a DRAWER until they assembled the cot!!! That's like Carole out of the Brittas Empire!!!!! Haha sorry off topic now, I got my pram at 11 dpo (reserved it the day after my bfp before OH even knew). Never too early

We have nearly got all our baby things, all stored in the soon to be decorated nursery! We bought our pram about 6 weeks ago and its sitting happily with all the other baby things! If you can get a bargain there's no need to wait, enjoy it hun xx

We've had our eye on one too that is on sale so we're buying it now, I don't think its too early there is so much stuff to get you'll be broke (and tired!) running around collecting in the last 6-8 wks!

some ppl are supersticious! my MIL kept going on about that too - so our pram and moses basket etc are at their house and we'll prob get them in the New Year before she arrives!!

most ppl dont buy stuff b4 12 weeks "just incase" but at 20 weeks i cant see much of a problem if everythings ok!!

my friend bought a rocking horse when she found out about her first really early (which i thought was a bit strange) it went a bit wrong for her sadly shes on her 3rd pregnancy now and shes just over 7 months so im praying shes going to go full term with this one - but she wont even buy a teddy or a sleep suit until its here xx

Just so you know, we ordered our pram when I was just over 12 weeks, fell in love with it so my Mum put the deposit down (she's buying it) we don't pick it up until Xmas though and then she's keeping it at her house until Bub arrives!!

lol!! My mum said this when she came over, i have bought some clothes and she said 'as long as you dont buy a pram yet' and i said 'why?' she said 'oh thats bad luck'!!! Sod that, i want to be organised

My mom keeps saying it's a bad luck blah blah blah and I shouldn't buy or do anything *before* the baby is born. Uhmm what?!! And when exactly would I have time to buy anything after the baby is born! People are funny. I say buy everyhing if you see a good deal late or early. I think I'll wait (although it is extremely hard) till my anatomy scan and that's it, I am gone on shopping frenzy and nobody can stop me!

I'm probably going to wait until I am at least 7months before buying anything. I am only 14 weeks now and think it is far to early as I don't think I will stop worrying about the baby until I actually give birth to it!! I lost a baby at 6months last year and had bought only one babygro, think I would have been heartbroken if I had had a whole nursery full of stuff. It doesn't stop me looking at all the stuff I want though.

Heyy Well My Mum Is Payin My Pram Up But And Wee Picked It When I Was About 8 Weeks Lol. I Jst Fell In Love With It Lol. Its The Mamas N Papas 8 in 1. But The Shop Coudnt Keep It For Us Their So My Mum Has It In Her House As Its Bad Luck To Have It In Your Own House Lol. I Jst Hope When The Baby Is Born I Will Still Like It As Iv Heard Of Ppl Tht Have Got Theirs Early And Once They Have Had The Baby Dnt Like It Any More Lol.

I haven't bought mine yet (25 weeks) but with my son, we bought one at around 16 weeks, and he was perfectly healthy
