Where the Wild Things are....what age range?

I'm looking at buying books for Christmas for a few nieces and nephews of varying ages.

What would you say is a good age for Where the Wild Things are?

We got is for ds when he was 2 or 3 - it's quite a simple book in terms of word count. Slightly odd graphics but an ok book. Ds is nearly 4 and is on to bigger and better things!

I've been reading it to ds since he was 1 1/2, my nephew is 4 and still asks for it. I think it's an amazing book I love reading it. x

It's a great book, Got it for Hayden when he was 2 and took him to a workshop session based on it at 2 1/2, and he still asks for it at bedtime sometimes, at almost 4.

DS1 has had it read to him since he was 2. I still read it on my own now, I adore it!

my 4yo loves this book
