Where to start??

Hi ladies so my story short... i already have a 3 year old daughter with my ex husband.
My new partner has a very low sperm count and there really bad swimmers. He's been told he's more likely to win the lottery 5 times in a row than fall pregnant naturally.
So we physically cannot afford IVF, and also the likely of it happening is very low.
So we are looking into other options and one of them is sperm donation.... Do we need to speak to a fertility person/have a consultation to find out how to go about it or do you just go to a sperm bank or what???

Really confused by it all so any advice would be great

Sorry to hear that he has a low count.

If you are wanting to use a sperm donor you would need to go to a clinic and go through IUI. You would order the swimmers, have them shipped to the clinic and then go in for the IUI. It is a bit of a process so the first step would be finding a fertility clinic if you haven't done so already.
