Which formula do you use?

We started on Aptamil, then at 5 months we moved to the USA and changed to Similac as there's no Aptamil here, and recently we switch to a generic brand (Target) because financially things are a bit tight and it is soooooooo much less expensive and seems pretty much the exact same thing in terms of nutritional quality. Alexander is doing fine on it :]

Similac is soooo pricey and I tried the Target sensitive for my LO and she was so horribly constipated the dr told me I had to go back to name brand as she had been fine. So I guess I'll be buying the stuff for another 8 months at full price :( can't complain too much cause she's happy though :)

Ah poo... that's annoying. But your baby's happiness is worth the extra $$ as you say!! We're lucky Alexander seems to be getting along well with the Target. He was actually a little constipated on the Similac and that seems to have improved since the switch.

Similac Sensitive for us! Never had a problem and he takes it better than breastmilk even after eliminating gluten, caffeine, and dairy!

SMA, my mom was the main reason as i intended to go cow and gate (being cheaper) but she swore by SMA with us as children and i kinda swayed with that lol

Aptamil breast feeding substitute, but m also expressing. LO keeps getting constipated so may have o switch her to the one tha helps relieve that.

Xxx

We use Enfamil A+. This is what they used at the hospital, so we're using it here too.

We started with breast milk but it was only coming out of one of my boobs, and even when I expressed nothing came out :( OH likes to think I just gave up but that's another story...

Gave her SMA, she didn't really take to it, she threw up alot so switched to aptamil first milk and she loves it!

She's 6 months in a couple weeks so will be switching to follow on :)

The swap was simple I think because SMA is slightly thicker than aptamil!

Originally with Hipp organic, but then they changed to the combiotic stuff and my LO hated it, so we had to change to cow and gate.

So your son still had problems after a while on the Combiotic then? That's ashame. We will be strating on Combiotic with the new baby so hopefully she wont have any problems. Heard such great things about Hipp on B&B aswell as other forums. xx

Started with bm. Then aptamil, then hipp, then comfort for a day, then wysoy, then smc lf, then nutramigen now finally settled on neocate.
After finding out she is cmp, lactose and soya intolerant.x

Similac sensitive. We started with regular similac and switched as she was very gassy on regular similac and the dr didn't want us switching brands but said we could try the sensitive. ( dr actually said they usually recommend enfamil because of vitamin d or something? I forget)

We have tried to switch to target brand 2 times and it hasn't worked. She spits up more on it and is more constipated.

Megan was on similac sensitive ( she seemed to spit it up less than regular similac for some reason). We switched her to target brand at 10 months when there was a recall on similac before switching to cows milk at 12 months. She was fine with target brand those2 months.

Thinking we will try Target again sometime to see if Jordan can handle now that she is a bit older.

We use Nutramigen Lipil 1 as LO has either CMPI or CMPA, not sure which yet. Big bonus is that we get it on prescription!
