Which part are you most scared of?

Bit I'm dreading? Someone's hand up my flue, and having a good old rumage! :nope::nope::nope:

Definitely the ring of fire because I haven't experienced it myself! I didn't feel it last time because I had an episiotomy so I was being numbed down there and didn't feel anything until my baby was lifted up for me to see!

I might be induced this time and I am a bit worried because I hear that induced labour is more painful than natural labour.

But at the end of the day I would want for this baby to come out safely - which is what I am worried more about anything else!

As i have done it twice before i would say crowning! with the contractions i breathed in the gas and air and really focused on it going cos thats one less right?!

with the crowning i was so scared of tearing, i dont take great pride in my tuppence but have a deadly fear of it tearing or being cut so i am petrified of the head coming out...

ugh ive got myself feeling all sick just thinking about it now lol xx

thats the only thing thats scaring me too!

It's my first and to be honest I'm not really scared of it all - it's what my body's meant to do and it'll all be fine. It's only pain - it'll be over at some point and then we get to meet our baby! I really think that the more you worry, the worse it'll be since your body will tense up and won't behave like it's meant to. I'm actually really excited by it - the sooner I go into labour (although hopefully not too soon - baby's still got a while to cook yet!) the sooner baby's here!

xx

omg i was having a nosey from 2nd tri and i reeeally wish i hadn't, i'm terrified now lol! x

Awww bless you hun, everyone's different. I wouldnt worry too much, I honestly can't remember much from my 1st labour at all. You'll do just great hun  xxx

Lol sorry i didnt mean to scare any1.
But i suppose we are all gonna have to go through it at some point
xx

I'm dreading the pushing stage as im planning on having the epidural if contractions become too much to handle...

At the moment the thing that is worrying me most is actually having to call labour ward ad explain things to them.. I have a fear they are going to treat me like an idiot if I ring too early or just not listen to me.

After that I am worried about the transition and pushing as I am sure I will tire very quickly and I don't want them throwing a c section at me because of exhaustion.

Other than that I am quite excited

EDIT: Ooooh yes tearing... BIG FEAR!! crowning and intense burning pain.... but that doesn't last long right???

xx

There is nothing at this point I fear even though I have two labors before.

Had my first antenatal class yesterday and had been putting off learning about labour. Am now terrified of the whole thing.

Also the birththing positions info was a bit daunting - I am sure that I won't care but they didn't look very dignified - Am I the only one worried about this?

OMG another is...pooing while pushing!!!!! I would be mortified!! hehe x

I'm scared of tearing the most actually. Because with the contractions I know they will be over as soon as I have the baby. But with tearing, that's going to cause me pain for a while. It just freaks me out.

I think I'm most scared of tearing. But all of it seems pretty scary at the moment - although part of me can't wait as I know I'll get to meet my little boy at the end of it.
