Which spelling do you prefer?

Layla seems the most common and the easiest to pronounce.

I'd say go with the spelling closest to how you say the name. I'm Lucie and always having to spell that. DD is Orla and we went for the anglicized spelling over Irish for that reason x

Depends how you want it pronounced. I'd pronounce Leila as "Lee-luh"

The other two of pronounce as "Lay-luh"

Thanks girls for your comments I understand some people would pronounce Leila as Leeluh but the correct way to pronounce that spelling is Layla. Like a lei (lay) of flowers or the words weight, freight etc.
Just thought I would get opinions. My name is Carlie which is a not so common spelling as opposed to Carly but I like that it's different and not so mainstream. I prefer the spelling Leila but I do take on board the fact it might get pronounced wrong. Thanks again for your opinions ladies

I'd go with Layla. Have also seen Lahela floating about, pronounced very similarly to Layla I believe

I prefer Leila as I know a Leila and Layla. The Leila is a strong woman, yet very soft spoken and lady like.
