Hello friends,

my self is ashley. i am pregnant. this is my first time so i am little confuse about our food and my health. so tell me suggestion. i am waiting for your reply.

It depends on who ask. Overall you should be drinking at least 64 oz of water and eating a balanced diet (although splurges and cravings will interference and that's perfectly ok)

Some countries don't reccomend deli meats, runny eggs, raw fish, unpasteurized cheeses.

For me the only thing I avoid is alcohol. It's best to look up your countries food reccomendations for pregnancy and decide what you are comfortable with.

Also some where on this site there is a thread stickied that is all about foods to eat and avoid in pregnancy. I just forget where it is at.

I'm in the U.S. and some of the foods that they recommend to avoid during pregnancy are:

-lunch meat
-Fish (no more than 12 oz a week); Especially Tuna because of the mercury in it
-raw eggs
-raw cheese
-unpasteurized milk
-obviously alcohol

^^ That link should help you and provide you with more foods to avoid.

Make sure you are eating a well balanced diet with fruits, veggies, protein, carbs, etc and drink at least 64 oz of water a day.

H&H 9 months to you! :happydance:

^^ WSS. I'm in the US too and my doc has told me the exact same things
