Which way to spell.......

Fern/Fearne?!

My OH and i disagree on this, and so i call on you lovely ladies to give an opinion! Middle name will be Amelia if we decide on this name (its on our shortlist)

I prefer fern (the correct spelling of plant needles) keep it short and simple like the name dawn

I think fern should be used for the plant, while Fearne should be used for the name. Just my opinion of course!

Definitely Fern. Fearne would be misspelled or mispronounced way too often, as pretty as the spelling is.

I think if baby is a girl we will go with Fern Amelia ,... I prefer it and also think the other way is just awkward xx My OH did prefer Fearne, but has come round to my way of thinking xx

I like Fern. I've never seen it spelled Fearne. When I look at it spelled that way, the first thing I see is the word "fear". But I think Fern is a very pretty name!
