One day overdue today for me... not really got any signs of anything happening soon though. Have been having occasional cramps that are a little more crampy than they were, but I've been having them on and off for weeks now so am not putting any faith in them being anything!

Hi ya Sunshine :wave: our little boys are keeping us waiting. Is it me or have today and yesterday gone sooooooooooooooo slow? I think these overdue days are really gonna drag, although the cramps sound good for you xxx

I know, time is really dragging. DH has this week off of work on holiday (purely by coinidence - he has to book his holiday over a year in advance) but we were hoping baby would be here by now... instead we are just stuck in the house waiting... and waiting... fingers crossed something will happen before he goes back to work!

No signs at all . All the uncomfy signs I had last week has vanished, I think he was teasing me.

I have phoned MW as I'm still very crampy, uncomfortable and bleeding. Have lost more bloody show. When I phoned she said that there had been a note left by the MW who did my sweep to more than likely expect me in through the night (here's hoping!!!!!!) Still not contracting regularly but getting tightenings all the same. Going to go for a walk then get myself sorted for bed just incase things kick off I want to get a little rest if possible.

Will probably still be here tomorrow but I really really hope I'm a mummy by then xx

Well I've just had green papaya salad, in a novel bid to 'encourage' things...

can I join the party? I am overdue 4 days now, was due on the 3rd. But here I am, not a twitch, a drop of show nothing... My doc did a pelvic and told me that my cervix was facing forward but still too high, and I was 1 cm dilated. Booked for induction on August 11th.

The waiting is the toughest part.... the day seems to drag because its hard to make any plans..you are always thinking..what if...maybe tonight, maybe in the next hour. ITS TORTURE but in a fun way!

Welcome starbucket - glad you are finding it fun still, i'm starting to struggle with that part now.
Hoping catlady is doing ok with her labour and that she already has her little bundle.
8 days over for me now, 4 days (not including today) until induction. I have been up since 3am and i'm ready to hurt someone already! Hope everyone else is doing well today. xxx

It's 1am here and I haven't gone to bed yet lol. I'm tired but am anxious about getting the gel induction tomorrow. I really want it to do the trick but am pretty sure I'll be back at the hospital Monday morning for the pitocin drip. I got really down about it earlier and had a good cry about the whole thing (damn hormones) but am feeling a bit better now. I keep losing more and more of my plug (how much is there lol?) and have had some contractions. Unfortunately they aren't too intense or regular sigh. Well, since it's after midnight I'm techinically on day 13 of being overdue and if I make it to Monday that will be a full 2 weeks and baby could potentially not arrive until after midnight which would be Tuesday and day 15 lol...please tell me someone else is gonna go further lol...I really didn't want to win this.

ah hun, sorry you are/were feeling down about it I think it sounds like you are moving in the right direction so the gell might well be enough to tip you over into full labour! Will they give you info on how far you are progressed when they put the gell in? Fingers crossed for you, good luck with the gell. If it makes you feel any better i have been up since 3am here, on and off in tears about the whole thing, you aren't alone and we all feel this way at some point or another! Hang in there, soooooo close now. xx

Just a quick update to let you know that I started having contractions at 3am this morning and my waters broke at about 3.45am. Been to hospital and they said I can stay at home until mid morning when she wants me to come back in to be checke over. Contractions coming about every 5 mins and getting quite painfull. Been for a bath and had some paracetamol but it's doing nothing!! God I hope I can do this!! Wish me luck!! xxx

As for me, the geren papaya did bugger all... but that's no surprise really... 41 weeks now. Just keep waiting!
