Feel as though my back and hips are cramping all the time, but my tummy cramps seem quite irregular and def more so when I'm moving about, so I'm on the ball even although it's hurting!!!! How are you holding up?? x

They are definately getting more painful, cant talk through them now, just discovered I dont have the right battery for the tens machine!! Sending dh out for some now! Although still terrified pains are going to stop! Have been waiting for this for so long!

Yeah, been loosing more blood and slimey stuff. Had an upset tummy this morning and feel like I want to go again but can't iykwim! I think by the time we get to this stage of being overdue there isn't a question in the world you can be asked that is too personal!! lol The MW I had today I haven't met before and she just said before my sweep, I'm sorry, this is not the nicest of ways to introduce myself!!! Told her not to worry, my dignity is well and truly shot to shit at this late stage of the game!!! x

Sorry to gatecrash but i was like this on the Morning i had my son...I was due to be induced at 12 on the Monday and he was born at 3.06 AM on the Monday Morning And i had that constant nagging backache/cramp that eventually broke up into contractions...Dont forget it might not be tummy contractions either,.....All mine were in my back and thats what threw me and why i was reluctant to go into hospital for what i though was severe backache!!....Good luck x

Oooh Catlady and NG09...looking promising for you both! I'm so excited (and a little jealous lol) for you both. I was hoping to get a second sweep today, but the midwife hasn't called me yet, so she must be at another birth. We have a big Greek festival down the road from me all weekend so I'm gonna go down there and meet my older bro and his 4 kids and walk around all afternoon and hope that sets something in motion. I can't wait for the first ladies in our little group to have their babies!!! Woohoo. I'm guessing I'm gonna make it to my gel induction tomorrow and probably the pitocin on Monday...I've lost faith in my body to go into labour on it's own.

One day overdue today for me... not really got any signs of anything happening soon though. Have been having occasional cramps that are a little more crampy than they were, but I've been having them on and off for weeks now so am not putting any faith in them being anything!

I know, time is really dragging. DH has this week off of work on holiday (purely by coinidence - he has to book his holiday over a year in advance) but we were hoping baby would be here by now... instead we are just stuck in the house waiting... and waiting... fingers crossed something will happen before he goes back to work!

I had sweep number one today, which was quite uncomfortable to be honest. Apparently she couldn't quite reach my cervix as it was tucked back, and she couldn't get to it because the baby's head is so low?! As such she said the very low head is really positive and all might still kick off, and I've got to go back for a 2nd one on Mon to see if she can reach the cervix. I embarrassed myself by having a little cry, partly cause I'm bad with discomfort (bodes well for labour eh!) and partly cause I was hoping that she would say everything was looking good but it is unlikely to have done anything which disappointed me. Oh well!

Induction is now booked for Thurs, when I'll only be 41+4...but they don't do them on weekends and they're really busy. Fingers crossed she gets going before then!

I have a hideously sore lower back and bum now though, am sitting on bouncy ball but so painful. Grrrr.

Feeling very crampy for the last half hour, just suddenly come on, mainly in my lower back/pelvis - pleeeeeeeease let this be something, although i know in my heart of hearts it isn't. Just been into the postnatal ward again to visit my sister and burst into tears.........sooooo ready for this (if totally petrified).

They are expecting me back in later, sent me home to have a bath etc. I feel so sore around my lower tummy inbetween, have had about 8bms today and keep on heaving to be sick. Hopefully within 12 hours I will be a mummy!!
