Who else is 39 weeks + playing the waiting game?

So I have made it further than my first 2 pregnancies. DS1 born at 36 weeks and DS2 at 37 weeks. I am 39 weeks +2 and wondering when this one is going to arrive. Have been having BH pretty bad for 2 weeks, went into hospital twice but both times no active labour even though the last visit I was having 3 contractions in 10 min but they were hitting 70 and 80 and no higher... had really bad pelvic pain which left me unable to lay in bed on either side but went to chiropractor on Thurs last week and wow what a difference by today. I can walk without waddling, not yet able to lie in bed just yet but hopefully after my next chiro app tomorrow I will be able to. Oh and baby still wasn't engaged last week Monday, he's been floating but he is at least head down. So where are all you ladies at???

I am right there with you!! I am almost to my due date, and ALL THREE of my other babies came 2 weeks early. What's up with this one? I've been 5cm dilated since 36 weeks, too...

Me too but my first came at 40 + 4 so I suppose I expected the same this time too. Seeing midwife today, going to ask about the sweep but pretty sure she is going to wait and make me go hospital on Saturday to get it. I'm getting loads of painful cramps and Braxton hicks so I hope it means my body is getting ready! Xx

Heya, i'm also 39 weeks and impatiently waiting! Baby is engaged, also getting lots of cramps and braxton hicks for the past week. Just so desperate to meet her now, I don't want to wait much longer!! xx

This going over your EDD seems quite common... who knew? As I mentioned I was always early before so all this info is news to me.

Well I really really hope we all go into labour soon soon! Sending labour vibes to each of you!

Keep us all posted, hopefully one of us goes and starts a domino effect?! One can only hope right?!

Have you considered a Chiropractor for the pelvic pain? I was in such agony before going to the chiropractor. Had another appointment with chiropractor yesterday, was a little tender last night but today I already feel such an improvement again. The pelvic pain is such unnecessary torture. I thought I had to live with it and there was no treatment.

When I say pelvic pain I mean more like pressure down there almost like I want to push the baby put lol and cramping I know it's all good pains as it means my body is getting ready for labour but with my due date tomorrow I'm really hoping labour is soon! How are you feeling? Xx

Hey ladies! Sorry I went quiet, had to have a c section on Friday. Baby just wasn't engaging, he was still floating high and prosteria, and was already 4kg. To wait another week would end in c section as he would way too big... my amniotic fluid was also high 3.5lt so doc didnt want to risk inducing because the chance of prolapsed cord was too high. But what is important is baby is fine and healthy, I got sterilized while I was at it so I am very ouch, but feeling a bit better everyday. How are you ladies doing?
