Who have you told/are you planning to tell early?

I'm getting an early scan at 8 weeks 6 so might tell mum and sis after that, everyone else will wait till 12 weeks

I desperately want to tell everyone now. I hate secrets and I am really bad at keeping them. We have only told a handful of friends. DH wants to wait until after my first appointment. He wants to make sure there is a heartbeat first. I'm nervous that it might be too early to see one as I will only be 5 weeks 6 days. If I ovulated when I think I did, it might even be a little earlier than that. I don't know why they scheduled it so early but she did. If we see the heartbeat at that appointment, we'll tell DS that night, announce it to my parents that weekend and tell everyone else throughout the following week.

I feel like we've already told more people than what I am comfortable with. 8 close friends (combined), DH's parents and siblings, and DH's had to tell his managers at work.

Waiting to tell the rest after I really show/preferably after our 12 week ultrasound.
