hi,im new to this site n love it already! i had a misscarrage in mar08 and been ttc since,im 27 and b4 i got pregnant i had totally give but now i know it can happen i am not giving in till i get what i want which is of course a , im sure will all get there in the end just some are lucky enought to get there quicker than others!! think this ttc#1 forum would be good cos we dont yet know what its like to hold are babies

Hiya, ttc number 1 as well. Lost track of cycles now but its a year next month and I'm on my first cycle after a m/c. At least I know hubby and I made a baby. I just couldn't keep it. Soon, soon for us all. Stay positive x

Hey, I am TTC #1 and AF just arrived yesterday after 1st month trying. I'm still feeling reasonably upbeat even though my o/h was not very sympathetic yesterday when the witch got me. My mum took a year to conceive me and my sister took 2 months to conceive #1 and is currently 10 and 1/2 weeks pregnant. I hope I will follow in my sisters footsteps. Think I could get very down if it takes a long time TTC.

You certainly have waited long enough and I'll have everything crossed you get your BFP soon.

Have you been to the doc for some help? I guess after 2 mc they must be involved. I had my first appt last week as about to start 12th cycle (had 1 mc in feb). Had blood tests galore and am going back for results next week.

Hi Schmelly,

After my 2nd m/c in Mar07 I went for lots of blood tests and I had a scan that I got all cleared. They both happened very early in 6-7 weeks, so nothing could be done. They couldn't send me for any genetic tests until I had 3 losses, which can make you mad! But as the year was coming to an end and nothing was happening, I went back to doctors demanding more investigation. It took me months to get to the specialist. They redone all my blood tests, tested DH. Everything is ok. He would now send me for just a HSG, but because of my age (32) and 2 previous m/c, I need to go for a laparoscopy. Only after that he will prescribe any fertility drugs.
I'm sure all your tests are going to come back fine. It's just one of those things. Some people are lucky to have 3 kids in a row never knowing our pain. And some has to fight for a long time. How long have you been ttc in total?
I often think whether stress hasn't got anything to do with that. You often read people try, try and nothing. When they give up, it happens. Not that I am anywhere near to give up, but I spent lot of time worrying it'll happen to me again and I'm not wasn't even pregnant yet. After few months it changed to stressing about: Why can't I get pregnant at all? I'm trying, and it is so hard!, to think of all this positively, looking forward to it and imagine in my head having a nice pregnant belly and lovely baby in my arms, instead of the pain of each m/c and the fear of never falling pregnant again.
