Extended rearfacing carseats, really I cant find any with nice colours.
Anyone know of any good site's as Hollie is ready for one now!

I found this one
https://www.kiddisave.co.uk/store/product/7550/Recaro-Polaric-Microfibre-Car-Seat-Black-Silver/

I just want something girly.

Wish I could help more but I'm in the US! I have the Graco ComfortSport Convertible Car Seat in Maribell! :flower:

I think safety's more important than prettiness
Noah's is alright I guess, never really thought about it tbh, it's not ugly

Agreed.

And honestly since your having #2 so quick Id get something gender neutral so if you decide to, you can flip Hollie once #2 has grown out of the infant seat and put him/her in the ERF (since Hollie will be like..2 or so then, I'm assuming).

Double agreed.

those ERF go up to 4.5 years :) so I'll have to get 2 and #2 will go in Hollies newborn seat till 9 months then into the ERF so they will both be in the ERF till 4/5 yrs old :)

This is the one we just got!:happydance:

soo excited! I hope that it fits in our car..:haha:

I can't help much since I live in the US, they're different. But I wouldn't worry about the color. Like the other girlies above said, you might want to do neutral colors or a solid black or something in case #2 is a boy! Plus black isn't very girlie, but there's loads of black ones out there that are nice!

i got a brio zento i like it. its just black but i have pretty girly toys hanging by it and a girly sunshade.

Ive got this one for Riley (in blue).. but they do it in loads of different colours:) i got it for £100 reduced from £159.99

I think when it comes to ERF, you really need to worry more about which one will fit your car, than which is prettiest. A lot of them won't just go in any car!

You could also get a custom cover made for it out of some pretty fabric?

It's a Britax first class I think? We were going to have it but it wouldn't fit in our car rear facing.
Ad agree you could make your own cover or buy a custom one if you are that bothered.

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure the first class isn't an ERF seat, it just rear faces a a couple of months longer than an infant carrier before it needs to turn FF :flower:

I keep looking for these extended rear facers and can't find any that are less than like £200 :(

Yeah unfortunately £200 is the cheapest one I Came across while I Was looking, mine was £250, and a lot of them are even over £300!! I'm gunna need another one next year too

If it helps, I found that Volvo sell the britax multi tech which is the one I have, but they've rebadged it as a volvo and sell it a bit cheaper! I'm not sure how much cheaper, but might be worth phoning up your local volvo and asking them the price!

They'll probably tell you that they dont sell car seats, a lot of the staff dont know about it... But they DO, so make them look!

Man you guys are harsh! It's not like the OP is saying she won't buy one because they are ugly, she is just saying it would be great if there was a nicer choice. Of course it doesn't matter what it looks like if it does it's job, but is it too much to ask to have one that looks good. We all like to buy nice looking things don't we? Which clothes do you buy? the functional only ones, or the pretty ones? And all other car seats seem to do a range of colours and covers so why not ERF?

I agree about getting a light cover made of you can't find one you really like the look of.

To the OP, I replied on your other thread, but you can get the cow print Britax Multi-Tech and the purple border Britax Hi-Way from www.carseat.se. I know that the Milton Keynes In-Car Safety Centre do the Hi Way as well, so maybe worth giving them a ring to see what colours they offer?

The First Class plus (and combi seats like it, eg the Maxi Cosi Opal) don't extend RF as much as some of the imported seats, but RF to 13kg (often in a more upright position than an infant carrier) is not bad at all. For a lot of kids that'll be at least 2 years old, which is not to be sneezed at :)

Thing is, my car is really small! A fiat punto lol! I am not fussed on colours or anything so the next baby in the future can use it and so on! Only issue for me is price and being able to fit in my car x
